I liked this first ep, it felt too short as usual. The banter/word duel with Jeanne was nice but a bit dragged out.

I like how the 1st episode immediately begins with the "pay off" from the last season. It is really satisfying to see Souma putting the Prince in his place. Though I see the animation budget is still about $20...
