How do you rate Hentai Properly?

Like, just how do you rate hentai properly? Like I rate almost every hentai I watch at least a 9 but every time I watch a hentai it's like yeah it was good I guess 9 maybe 10? And I have searched it on Google and for some reason I just can't find any good resource for something like this, like just how do you rate hentai properly? I was actually looking for something that explains every tier, for example 10 amazing 9 didn't like that one scene or something like that

Well I've only read I couple of H manga, I guess it depends on if the adult content is good but also do I actually like the characters? like drug candy was good but MC was a bit of an ass and I didn't like him lol so I gave it an 8.5 but yeah I think it's hard to be critical about those types of things

Nobody else but you can decide how you rate the things you watch so third party resources aren't necessary and I don't think you need to change anything.

I usually just stand 10 feet away from a wall when I nut and measure how far it went.
For example if it launches 7 feet then that would result in a 7/10. Hitting the wall would be a perfect score.

I don't think people in general rate hentai as carefully and accurately as they do in anime ... however if I were to use a Tier List I'd use this:
- 10) Masterpiece: I love every single hentai scene and storyline.
- 9) Perfect: Nice story and reflects the genre described in the tags.
- 8) Amazing: Good story and the characters are well characterized.
- 7) Great: pretty good story, good animation, I would see it again without problems.
- 6) Good but ..: Good enough story, it didn't bore me, but it didn't gave me the "WOW" effect.
- 5 (or less): I didn't like the story, sometimes boring, and the characters are not well characterized.
NB: evaluating hentai below 5 is useless, as you will hardly find a plot that you can criticize and judge.

For me, ranking hentai is like ranking porn. The most important element is the sex itself. Animation, art style, sound effects and maybe voice acting comes second. And the story and characters are just extras.

When I had hentai on my list, I only have a high rating to hentai that felt worthwhile. With animated hentai it's mostly just a waste of time but sometimes it shines as an artform and that's when I can proudly give it a high score like an 8 because I never rated anything 9 or above

However, most of these can be guessed (basically) from the studio, such as BunnyWalker & Pink Pineapple, who consistently produce excellent work, but the pinnacle of EDGE cannot be topped accodring to my taste.

I also don't add hentais to my list if they aren't 10/9 or 10. I only add hentai to my list if it's something I want to remember and watch again later.

Also, NTR (if it isn't flipped) and UB makes it an instant 10/1 to be clear.

You don't, or at least I don't. If I did, it would really fuck up my score. It's not like I can rate their stories or anything. If I was going by some "objective" metric, the hentai I watch would be fairly low, but if I'm basing it on how good it made me feel, they'd probably all get 10s, so I just decide to not rate them at all.

I don't really do that, but if i did intend to rate a hentai i would see if it's a no-brainer hentai or not, if it's not then can it balance between the story and the H.

if it's a no-brainer and the art is good then i would give it max a 9
If it's not a no-brainer and it can balance the story and the H then i can give it max a 10
If it's a no-brainer and the art is bad then i would give it max a 7
If it's not a no-brainer but it can't balance the story and the H cough cough Metamorphosis cough cough then i would give it max a 6

If it's hot, I give it a 6.9/10. If it's REALLY hot, I give a higher score. If it's garbage, I don't give it a 6.9/10.
