Other anime like this movie ?

By like this movie, I mean like really like this movie, not 'yuri' or 'music' related stuff.

Like from the recommendations, Koe no Katachi is like the only movie there which can be said it's like Liz to Aoi Tori. And I know they are both by the same director so it's understandable why.

Basically, I'm asking for anime (or anything) that's like this movie, like with a lot of ambient (or atmospheric) music, not much talking, and well a bit simple I suppose ? Angel's Egg fits somewhat but not really like that.

I'm really sorry if I don't seem to make any sense here...

Tamako Love Story, and the Case of Hana and Alice can fit too (I think) but I don't remember much about them. On-gaku too but that's a bit out there.

I think you might enjoy “Children of the Sea” (Kaijuu no Kodomo) and “Kaiba”. They contain really great music but they honestly aren’t “simple”.
You might also like the movie “I Lost My Body” (J’ai perdu mon corps). It’s a french animated movie and you can watch it on netflix.

  I know of Children of the Sea and Kaiba. But it's my first time hearing about "I Lost My Body" so I will be checking that out.

Is it cheating to say that I don't really think any movie is like Liz and the Blue Bird?

I think, as you pointed out, a silent voice is likely the best choice and past that I'd really recommend everything else by Yamada like Tamako and K-on.

These are more long shots but if you want really delicate and "whole" stories maybe try

Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou

Kimi to Nami ni Noretara

  I have already watched all of the anime you mentioned except Night on the Galactic Railroad, which I will now be adding to my list.
  
  But yeah, I do agree that there really doesn't seem to be anything that's like Liz to Aoi Tori.

the yuri is not really there, but it's implied. I think this movie is so much like revue starlight in that sense

  revstar is definitely a pretty comparable franchise to specifically liz (and not really to the rest of sound euph)
  
  like liz, it is heavily about its themes and how its characters weave into them. that said revstar is even more all-in on its core relationships and i'd argue that while liz approaches yuri ideas revstar just shoots past them and transcends what love and relationships even are.

  yea I’d definitely say it compares to liz the most, but i think there are some small similarities to the rest of euph too

  Thanks for the recommendation! I just watched it and its a cute movie but wouldn't say its anyway close to Liz to Aoi Tori tho.
