Ah, it's probably because I recently changed my username, sorry ;;

I just finished ep 1 of FLCL, and I can't say I really like it unfortunately... it's very random and have very little explanation. The humor isn't doing it for me either, but I'll try to finish it since it's so short. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I like the world, and the sorcerers seem pretty interesting (especially that Ebisu girl). My only complaint so far is that the humor didn't hit for me, but the story definitely has some potential

watched first episode. animation was good, and humor was great too. But the background music and sound effects during cuts impressed me the most. Overall, Id give it an 8.5 for a first episode. and honestly i have a special soft spot for sword fighting anime , so thats makes even better .

TBH, I don't know if you'll like the first episode or the anime itself, but if you can think about its MC from a standpoint of growth and redemption, it's an isekai that is at the top of its genre.

  Yeah, I picked up the LN too, but with any type of novel, I prefer reading physical copies by a lot, so I stopped following it.

  I’m kinda the opposite. I find it way easier to read off my phone when I can use a reader app. I’m reading 86 right now as well, couldn’t find vol4 in stores, but found an epub. Blew through it in a few days, but I can barely bring myself to get through vol5 that I could get physically. Weird. Also helps that I can lie down and read on my phone

  Damn, I guess I'll have to start it soon then. I actually finished season 1 a few years back, but I dropped it midway through season 2 because I thought some of its plot twists were major ass pulls. Heard that the payoff is worth it though, so I'll rewatch it with a new mindset.
