Spirit Turtle arc is finally done. I expect something good in the next arc (New World Arc)

Dumbest episode so far

Character development is hopeless. Main story is forced and beginning of the new arc appeared out of nowhere actually. There is no character in this anime that actually make sense.

If it wasn't Kevin Penkin who composed the music, I would have dropped it this moment

well at least the action was somewhat good in this episode, but that's pretty much it, this whole arc has been pretty disappointing for this new season:/ for me at least

even through the spirit tortoise arc ist the weakest in all of shield hero the still butchered the adaptation in this arc/season so hard oof

Finally a decent f*cking episode.

Not great, but at least it didn't make me want to stop watching this anime.

It was the best episode of season 2. Each episode is getting better. A new arc begins. I am excited. I really like that attitude that Rishia is taking.

I also disagree with most of the criticisms in the other comment.

after a rough start, my patience ran out, the fuckin green haired girl beat up the book guy because she has the power of ki, the idiot watched while things happened and i put it 2x to end this torture

As always, I didn't read the manga, yet... So I don't know what's the difference between Anime and Manga, or what got cut out.

But with only 13 episodes to work with. Something's bound to be mediocre.

• Rishia character development is one thing. In contrast, the first season is devoted to Shield's hero character development. Meanwhile, Rishia's here just became more vital in the defeat of our antagonist than the Shield hero for some reason... I don't care how much she trained or experienced "Off-screen" If we don't see it we couldn't possibly have any time to understand or at the very least, for us viewers to have more ties to her. So now it's "how in the world she can jump that far in the development part again?"

• Second, Our Antagonist, who tf is this looser? Where did he even come from? And how did he get his screw in the head so loose? God knows... Well maybe Rishia know. We just don't get to know. All we know is he's an ass.
  "That's probably just enough for them to know" - Said the Writer, probably.

Now that I read some more spoilers... Yea I bet it's gonna be pretty flat. Like a flat coke on a hot summer day.

Choose your favorite character and buy their merch, I guess... That's what this season is probably for.

Ost Horai is gone just because some f***wit wanna have power and I'm more sad for her than happy for Rishia's development for this very reason...

Finally this arc is over, it was pretty bad. Stupid how Rishia suddenly became so strong all off a sudden

found a way to enjoy this season watching it in 1.5 speed makes it tolerable

watching at 2x speed definitely enhanced the experience, not as awful as the last few and intrigued abt next week

Until now I thought season 2 was not as bad as people here cry all the time but this episode was really stupid. The story arc about this turtle makes no sense at all and going to another world doesn't either.

i didn't wanna hate on this arc but what a trash ending lol, i'm gonna keep watching just to see if it gets worse

Best episode so far for the simple reason that the arc has now come to an end. So hopefully they won't rush the next arc.

okay dont get me wrong. i also started the episode not expecting anything good but i was surprised. out of the entire arc, thats been so shit, this was the best episode. its like they saved the budget till now. pretty good stuff.

also why did nafoumi scream "NOOOO" when he got the power up?

The episode was such a clusterfuck that I feel that the only good parts of the shows are the OST(occasionally), the ending song, and Ryouhei Kimura's voice acting as Kyou Ethnina.

probably the most insufferable antagonist since Bitch (in the worst way possible). I hate pathetic, whiny villains, and this guy was a step beyond your typical whiny villain.

This is one of the those "habitually started using my phone because it's boring" kind of episode.

I hope they don't mess up the Other World Arc

I watched a total of about 10 seconds of this episode as I skipped through it yet that was still too much time wasted.

I honestly can't believe how much the producers fucked this up.

Wow, it took 6 episodes for S2 to officially start. Yay... Why are they padding out the story so much? One of the reasons why S1 is so good was the faster pacing.

I enjoyed the episode. Loved seeing Fitoria again. I hope we get some Melty content, too. I feel she's really underappreciated. Not really watching for the plot at this point, I just really enjoy the character interactions. Filo and the Tanuki are a bliss to watch. Don't know how to feel about Rishia. Mirellia still remains #1 for me.

It at least upped the pace a bit in action and fight quality, but still didn't really make any sense, like despite having easily beaten loads of other people Shield Boi is suddenly unable to use any of his powers because of kryptongravity, and then Risha just randomly flips a switch and becomes badass and saves the day lol
