What'd you guys think of this episode?
Come on, it started well...
at no time did he say that he could not rip out his own heart/philosopher's stone, that is, he could end his own life without crying for others
then comes the friendship talk and that all he needs in life is friends, sensational
unprecedented brilliance
all he needed was to close his eyes and think "no more negative thoughts"
3000 years to reach this conclusion
and...... he worked as an employee of the queen, that is, we went back to zero
all that emotional battle with lightning etc was for NOTHING
Amazing, one of the best anime I've ever seen.
in the end, who really got f@&%~^d up was humanity that will keep shitting in holes in the middle of the woods while they die of cholera....because....well it doesn't need an explanation, it's an anime and the people who watch these animes don't want answers, they just a happy ending and full of friendship
personal grade: it shouldn't even exist/10
grade on the site 0.5/10 (a pity that I can't give a grade below zero)
note to haters: you can cry all you want in the comments below, the anime is still &*!@^
and I'm not even going to waste my time answering haters, at most if you want to put arguments (then I can consider answering) and not a bunch of futile words, the wasted time of my life with this anime was enough
peace
note to you: your opinion does not matter at all and is stupid. So who cares what you think? peace
who cares what i think?
well, so far 14 people liking the comments above, that is, 14 fanatics who were in pain because the anime sucks and they don't like the comment
because if you didn't mind you wouldn't give likes or comments

@GisenYagyu, it's fine if you didn't like it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, now don't go saying "note to haters" and expecting not to get harsh comments, because that's not how you voice your opinion.
Absolutely adored the ending. Exactly as I hoped it would end - there's a bonus too. :D
Broke my heart when I saw Lily cry like that, shed tears of my own. Glad they we're just momentarily as she gave Leo a good shacking back to reality.
Hoping for season 2, really do. The Side Story(OVAs) is what I'm looking forward to, from Yuusha Yamemasu.
Thoughts on a Season 2?
I'm glad that we got a good ending, I just don't like sad endings in general.
Right at the start of the episode when Echidna refused to take his heart out and I sort of assumed that he wouldn't die I did sort of feel like this would be perhaps not as interesting or good when compared to him just dying, but I actually feel like this better. Getting over his ancient commands, finding a new life, all those emotions, I feel like it's a lot better. Realizing that he has friends, that he is not alone, and having some hope for the future.
I'm really glad that I watched this series, and I think that it certainly is one of my favorites.
A second season would have been nice, I can sort of vaguely think of multiple ways in which this could have went, but it seems that the light novel series only had three volumes. I knew that the manga wasn't over so I had some hope but I assume that it just hasn't adapted everything. Still, hope never dies, so who knows, maybe the anime might convince the author to write some more books or to start a spin-off series in the future.
And at the very least I'll be certainly looking forward to the OVA's.
Pretty bland for a finale episode, and I have mixed feelings about it. While I liked that it was a happy ending, the way it played out felt too cheesy and forced (maybe due to time constraints, if I had to take a guess). Overall I enjoyed the show. The early season and ending felt generic but not bad necessarily, and the midseason had me hooked. Gonna give the show a 9/10 for Leo's backstory alone which I felt carried this show in the later episodes.
