What'd ya'll think of ep 13???
Very poor episode to be an official finale, its an ova for cut content.
Episode added nothing of value except the closing praying but we coulda lived without that or coulda opened with it in S3 - hell it coulda been added to last episode while the outro is going on.
Show shoulda ended on the transport back to their world and they just announce that this episode was cancelled and moved to be an ova.
i'm honestly impressed with how shit this season is compared to the first, they took the source material and completely butchered it and i went into this season with a positive attitude because the first season only had 1 major problem which was the village being gifted 2 whole arcs too early, but that was crushed with the first episode immediately. as it confirmed my fears with the episode count namely that what i thought was gonna be a 2 cour 2nd season they ended up cramming that content into onyl 12 episodes. And it turned out as a disaster
I can only fear how the third season will play out.
and so ends the second season of shield hero aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I got to say, this season is by far the most disappointing (for me at least) in spring, like I was so excited for shield hero coming back and what I got is a massive let down, sigh I was really hoping that this would be better than the first season but no it wasn't. 5/10
It was a quiet episode. In general, there is a regression compared to the first season in many points. It's not terrible, but it's not as good as the first season. I hope season 3 will be better.
Don't rate the series too low because you're disappointed. Just because it didn't turn out as well as you expected doesn't mean this series is that bad.

You're saying we shouldn't give it a bad rating based on the fact that we didn't like it or that it was garbage?
The CGI was straight-up garbage and the story was butchered and partly inconsistent, I don't see why anyone would give it a good rating!
Thats a new idea of adapting a manga or light novel: Just cut out all the fanservice and jokes and side activities (world building) and put it in an episode at the END of the season. Hell the clips don't even have to make sense and jump from literally the beginning of the season to the end.
Thats the new META guys. Maybe comedic shows need to even reserve 2 episodes at the end for all their jokes and slapstick. Brilliant.
In all honesty this aint a surgery where you cut out certain parts and put them on a tray like what is going on did they do crack while coming up with that idea?
I watched 10x speed
saved 24 minutes of my life but lost 2 minutes writing this to make fans nervous
cuckold motherf*(@#&r anime
score: 0.5
good luck to everyone who is going to watch the continuation of this garbage
and haters keep your hate to yourselves instead of wasting time drooling on the keyboard writing good hate messages for me
I love these characters, so I enjoyed the episode. It was good fun. Still, I can't help but notice the lack of focus for this season to be more, and be remembered. Lots of wasted potential - this was passable, but it could've been so much more.
Loved the Ost scene, and more Kizuna content is always a treat. I really wish they'd fleshed out Ost - and other characters, for that matter - more.
this episode more like ova shows that the season could have been good if they had more character development i cared about ost in this episode more than the whole season and that says a lot and did they just do a fucking wilson are you for real wilson fuck you don't get cast away mixed in this garbage and i thought this season couldn't make me more angry.
It was... okay. There were some elements in this that were nice, but all I could think of was how it was all content that would have been in the episodes proper had they not Kazuki'd it. Kizuna's isolation would have been so much better placed right after they stepped through into the other world, and the clothes shopping would have worked better in the actual episode as a way to show just how carried away Kizuna gets because she can finally do something as simple as go shopping with friends again. All beats that would have made the season feel much less hollow.
This season has been the sole reason I'll be going for the written media. I didn't mind so much with Season 1 because though I knew there was content that was changed or cut from the release, we still had some really good development with the cast. This season felt more like a speedrun of some of the plot points they needed to get through... and I know that one of the reasons for that is because of the number of episodes getting sliced to a worrying degree...
I can't say I'm hopeful at the moment for Season 3, but I'd welcome being proven wrong.
While I wasn't a huge fan of link the first season at least it had consistent direction.
This one, by contrast, comes across as aimless and meandering. The whole first half is basically the equivalent of a 2-hour filler movie.
An aimless but at least cute final episode, gave us more cute Raph and Kizuna which is no bad thing.
That said a disappointing series, the first six episodes were a real mess, picked up in the second half when they swapped worlds and we got some colour, comedy and character variety - but it was too rushed to save it. Ethnobalt has no purpose other than a taxi, that second villain i can't even remember the name of and his two cute underling girls was a waste of time and Kyo was a potentially interesting villain but his motivations don't get explained and he's relegated to being a nasty loudmouth defeated with ease, .
Also they knew Ost for what, two days? And yet she's treated like a major character death we're meant to feel sad about.
Second half just about saves it and drags it to a 6/10 for me.
It really did work so much better early on when he was still angsty and wanting revenge, as soon as that disappeared it's just another harem fantasy
