Looking for romance Anime that are told from the perspective of the female MCs. No harems please. Hard mode: No shoujo or yuri
I hated how it ended
I loved the ending
I was referring to how the audience is supposed to imagine how the male responds. I hate when authors do that.
Also, valid pfp btw
Top tier manga
It's quite obvious how he is going to respond isn't it?
Thank you, I see you are a man of culture
Well yeah, but I'd still like to see it. It adds to my dopamine. I think that's the right word?
I still gave the movie a 9, I think?
No Shoujo!? You're crazy! There's no way such thing exi-

Not a fan of vampires, but I'll keep the two in the middle in mind
I love vampire-human relationships
The vampire has to be male though. There's just something about them that I really like.
Openings and endings sang by male vampires are also the best. Male idols too.
But I like female idols more
Kobato. is more SoL than it is romance. Araburu Kisetsu no Otome domo yo. is based all around romance, but some characters might piss you off. idk
No shoujo or yuri
Nodame Cantabile

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo
Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara
both female and male perspective
Horimiya
Not playing hard mode because getting used to the idiosyncrasies of shoujo is gonna set you up with enough romance shows about women for a couple of years. This one is funny and kind of scary. Good show that understands the MC is nearly as bad as the boys.
My Little Monster
This one is a good way to understand these fantasies arent about having good relationships, they're about obliquely representing sexual dynamics. If you can keep that in mind, a lot of the bad gross stuff in shoujo is better understood as weird.
Wolf Girl and Black Prince
If you don't mind some will they/wont they, this is one with legit attempts at a successful, healthy relationship
Kimi ni Todoke From Me to You

it's a brain off fluff manga and that is okay
My hard mode entries:
Kaguyasama Love is War
^It covers things from both the female and male perspectives, as all characters in the main cast act as POV at different times. It starts off as a slow episodic romcom, but once things start to really get going it just gets better and better, and the humour is good enough to carry it though the slow start. The anime adaptation is really good, but it's yet to cover the best parts of the series, so I'm including the manga here.
