tell about great moment of this episode
The premise has been basically exactly as I expected.
I mean it's pretty much as it is on the tin so far. I do however still digging the hell out of the score (Done by Kenichi Kuroda and Ken Itou). And since Kuroda was the main reason I even had this show on my radar (Loved his score for Assassin Aristocrat from last fall), I'm pretty happy with just some nice tunes with a formulaic show.
4 episodes into the show, I still feel the fan service is quite underwhelming. The whole selling point is still based around Vermeils has big booba and undress a lot, but they never try to take advantage to explore fetish and kink territory. In the end, the show just seem like ecchi series for kids?
It has nudity tag, why are you complaining?
@NinosThighs I wasn't complaining about the nude, I am complaining about the fan service isn't trying hard enough.
@1Yuno1 no >: (
Oh are you saying that you want it to be more complex/creative? I mean The ecchi scenes/implementation,perhaps more tasteful?
@1Yuno1 Since I don't expect the series does any action well, I was hoping they can put more effort into ecchi scene. I do not necessarily want them to be as creative as series like Prison School, High School of the Dead, or High School DxD, but at least they should put more effort to make ecchi scene ecchi? Instead, I just feel they only do low-effort template ecchi scenes which all generic ecchi series do.
The level of ecchiness of this series just doesn't seem to go pass "oh no, her boob is touching me", "omg she is naked" or "oh no, I am touching her boob" level.
I see. Sorry.
@NinosThighs I only forgive you because you have Nino profiles >: (
@FuzzLord, If you want something that explores fetishes and kinks, please refer to the hentais on the website and not ecchis.
@bpmotard Then what's the point to have ecchi genre if you can always use hentai to deflect criticism when they have done ecchi scenes poorly? I don't think it's unfair for wanting to see an ecchi series have better fan service instead of using the generic ecchi template? I just find them a bit lazy, that's all.
I do love myself some hentai, but ecchi is where a lot of creativity comes from.
That can used with every anime no? The generic template falls into a lot anime these days, but every full moon a good one appears that separates themselves from the rest of the seasonals.
A good example is My Dress Darling, that I think the portion of ecchi is enough not to subtract from the story that is being told. Here is just "kiss me while naked, so I can have some mana". I'm not here for the plot, just for the silliness.
Even more rare are the ones that has fetishes, etc. I think Redo of Healer and Interspecies reviewers are often mentioned of good ecchies, but that's a personal opinion
@bpmotard You are right, I am not sure why I judge this series so hard when I am fully aware of what I get myself into in the first place...
My Dress up Darling's ecchi is pretty well done. They really showcase why Marin is hot and her confidence in her own body while not overdoing the ecchiness.
Yes, I enjoy both Redo of Healer and Interspecies reviewer. Redo of Healer is definitely more of hentai. I think Prison School and Golden Boy are good examples that heavily explore fetish while not becoming hentai.
I like this series a lot, i think that this anime has had a pretty satisfying story so far, its nothing too deep or complicated, just and MC with a goal and friends to help him along the way, I dont mind it not being as ecchi as i expected because the wholesomeness of the show makes up for it. Vermeil x Alto ship all the way, and Vermeil is clearly in love with Alto as well, Alto has the childhood friend who loves him but usually childhood friends are soon more like little sisters. And plus Alto is warming up to Vermeil more.
