Toaru Majutsu no Index III is just a bad summary?!

This anime is only for people who have read the LN. And even they are not really happy about this anime. All in all, we just jump from one event to another and don't explain any background. Then there are more and more names and organizations that you simply can't classify anymore.

I liked index 1 and 2, but I don't read the LN. Someone who does this had to explain everything to me accordingly. So it's not much fun and I dropped the anime.

How do you think about the anime?

It rushes too much, skipping not only characterization but all the little details that make novels tense and interesting. It really is just an animated bullet point list of plot points.

I picked them LNs when first episode of S3 aired (because waiting weekly was a bother), and damn I'm so glad I did that.

I enjoyed the first two seasons, but this one is just terrible. Animation and story pacing and tone are all over the place. I'm hoping the Railgun #3 will be better.

Yeah..the pacing is far to fast, then again, in the past seasons they did get complaints about the community saying they go to in-depth explaining Academy City's mechanics, idealogy, etc and less action screentime... Hopefully Railgun 3 and Accelerator will be better

  The Accelerator manga is mediocre at best, as for Railgun they have finally enough source material so that they don't have to make 2/3 of the season filler like they did with season 1 and 2...

Bit late but I picked the anime up a while ago thanks to Gigguk's video on it. I've never read the light novels but I really like the world and the story, when I can understand it that is. But I agree this season is a miss

i noticed that index tended to deal with 'the world at large' while the spin offs focused on individual characters. because of how things have been ramping up, i expected a pretty fast paced anime but this was too fast. hopefully this means railgun and accelerator will be much better in their smaller scopes.
