huh, did anilist just decide to add countries to anime as well? and how do you guys handle co-productions?
just wondering since anilist never did it before and the only way to see was based on names unlike in manga with manga/manhua/manwha

  We recently changed from using manhua & manwha to having a country of origin based system. This is so we can have things like Aeni movies which wouldn't have been possible to categorise before.
  
  For co-produced works whichever country had the most creative control would be selected, there are some examples of these in the upcoming submission guidelines.
