[Spoilers] Lycoris Recoil - Episode 07 Discussion
Damn this episode was gay af and i love it, pretty funny as well. (the show really went "you want GL? time to balance it out with BL")
Takina lookin bossgirl in that suit, also Chisato was sexy. (there i said it)
Kurumi taking shots at Mizuki was hilarious, love their bickering. Also Mizuki down bad for the dog not being male.
The eyecatch in this show is so good.
Kinda sad reunion for Chisato with shinji, but she will be optimistic as ever however its not looking good for her especially since she is not wearing the pendent anymore.
Majima really taking balance to whole another level, also he is an Alan child but got whooped by loli chisato.
From that ending the next episode is going to be fun.
I'm honestly on the brink of becoming super impatient for the next episodes. The amount of stuff that was revealed regarding Chisato has me gripped so hard that I seriously want every upcoming episode to be dropped in a day. I know that won't happen, but still, I really want to see where they're gonna take this, and the wait is gonna be agonising.
I hope we get more backstory on Majima, be nice if he can be an actual character rather than just the evil villain. This episode hints at his backstory so hopefully it'll be developed. (same with robo hacker guy)
Also they seemed very chummy with Fuki, was hoping that rivalry would continue but guess not.
This ep felt somewhat slow as compared to last ep but tbh not every episode can be as action packed and intense as the last one, so it's fine since we got quite a bit of info from it. The main takeaway from this episode was that Majima is also an Alan child like Chisato. Another thing worth mentioning is also the fact that Chisato was referred to as "First Lycoris" which could be something pretty interesting
At the end of the episode it seemed like Chisato was her usual self, cheerful n all but it looked like it could be a facade. Also it seems like Majima is gonna target the new radio tower so gonna be fun to see that lol. Either ways gotta wait another week for next ep :c

If they had kissed, then it would have been very reassuring cuz it would mean that A-1 isn't hesitating with the gay agenda lmaoo. But at the very least they gave us some kinda hint that there may be or may have been something between those two (?). Mika x Shinji best ship this season no cap

Wasnt feeling this episode as much the previos one but i still liked it, the after credits scene was interesting. Chisato and Takina drip was on point today
Walnut is using node.js to build her own search engine.
Npm packages shown on screen : buffer , buffer-shims, inherits , and core-util-is.
She's probably using dsari-spider to scrap the web. Which is make sense if someone is trying to build their own search engine.

Oh, Robota's hacking style is involving hardware access (stolen lycoris phone, plug an USB to the police station), which is quite not as good as Walnut's hacking style (all remote). Nowadays, when most of computers are already connected to the network, we dont have to gain physical hardware access anymore to hack something. Robota is a skilled hacker, but Walnut is more skilled.
Walnut entered a funny name to the Bar's database. But the officer is believing it anyway since it's exist on the database.
"People who trust nothing but data only end up stupider! You should be careful as well"
Cue DA's blunder for believing Robota's misinformation.
As a computer science student who experienced a lot of fads and hypes regarding "data science", "data is the next oil", and any other jargons that worship the data excessively, walnut's line here is quite a reality-slap for me.
Even though Chisato got beaten down badly by Majima last episode. She draws him quite handsomely, just like shojo manga ikemen. Suspicious.

Walnut is the only one in the Lycoreco Cafe that is unaffiliated with DA. Quite a scary moment here.
For some reason, takina wearing men outfit, escorting Chisato to the bar, reminding me to Pekora who work as Poporon's bodyguard during her shows..
idk a lot about coding stuff other than the basics but did any of the stuff in the ep actually make sense or was it just a bunch of random code bullshit that you'd usually see in movies n stuff to make it seem cool. Not that it matters since they got the point across to us but still curious about it
So far it's quite accurate. As a programmer myself, i'm quite enjoying all the hacker-talk that Robota did back then on ep 6. For example :
- It's hard to hack government system when they are using their own custom OS. The details about custom made OS is shrouded in mystery, so there are little known exploitable vulnerabilities.
- Robota's hacker friend later suggested that the only way to hack it, is either gain access to system, physically (as they did in this episode, by storming the police station), or exploiting the OS's backdoor (something that only expert hacker, like walnut, could do). Exploiting OS's backdoor is really, really hard.
Chisato looking good in that red dress, and also kinda funny how Kurumi got stopped from entering the bar for "being a minor" despite having her ID card.
Also wtf is this anime gonna have yuri and gay relationship (Mika and Shinji) at the same time?
Can't wait for next ep, especially when they are revealing more about Chisato and other characters.
when lycoris enter the cafe. the loli get scared and pretend to be a member of the DA. lol
Chisato finally find the man she's looking for and thank him. It looks like Yoshi was about to say some more things, but Mitsuki and Kurumi barged in so he leave.
Mika is a good person. But he's scary when angered.. I thought he was gonna shoot Yoshi right there.
