Everybody here is talking shit about an isekai they probably never read before, pretty sad people like this watch anime and continue to expect isekai's to be top tier quality and on par with every anime like AOT, Demon Slayer, And Mushoku Tensei, I get why you all think it's shit but at the very least put some thought into your comment because not every isekai is genuine trash. Like, we get it, your taste buds are on a completely different level ever since you started getting into anime from tiktok. I'm not saying this wont turn out to be complete shit I'm only saying to stop calling it that until you've actually experienced it.
How about you read this trash? I looked at your manga list, and it looks like you haven't read this.
Don't say "woah, there!" to people who have read this manga when you haven't read it yourself.
That said, I've read the novel before the manga, and it's safe to say that this is genuine trash. I'll give an excerpt of what I said in my review, though this is a big spoiler if you haven't read the any of the manga or novel:
The main character doesn't think of the consequences of doing things; he brings royalty to his house in the other world without thinking they would possibly come back to look at it or claim it.
He knowingly takes pictures with celebrities without thinking his face would be known in a lot of places, making him popular. Also, he doesn't think of the consequences when revealing his inhuman strength and agility to people on Earth. However, he does think of what will happen when he took the magic circuit from the sage, which is possibly one of the first times he thought of the consequences. His self-esteem is so low that it isn't even funny, and he forgives people who tortured him for his whole life in just two sentences.
That isn't even the entire point of my comment, I'm defending it because its annoying to see people hate on everything just because of the cover, title, art-style etc.
If you don't like the story thats fine but to just out-right say "Oh this is garbage" or "this looks like shit" and not even specify (which is half of these comments) is annoyingly outrageous.
I checked and the people commenting all that haven't read it either. Maybe you're right and I should have read before posting this but even I stated "This could still turn out to be complete garbage" but at least I'm not hating on it for absolutely 0 reason.
yes i am late, but brother, i have read this manga and it does not deserve an anime lmao. This is some late night dorito tier guilty pleasure trash that you would read up to the current english translation and then never pick back up again. I think the people here have every right to judge it based off its name, cover and the work it was adapted from.
Oh I've read this (so far up to Vol 3 Ch 6).... but there is some really bad logical fallacies going on with author-san. Author-san has completely forgotten about characters on occasion, had the MC do stuff that just doesn't have any realistic sense.
I will buy a lot of rubbish (and I mean a lot of rubbish) but when Author-san starts ignoring the world rules they themselves set... it makes me question why I'm reading it in the first place.
Sort of excited for this. Having read 9 volumes of the LN already...hmm what can I say? It's definitely what most people would call a guilty pleasure for me. Personally I don't call it a guilty pleasure since I don't feel bad reading and investing time into this LN. But it's definitely NOT for the majority of people. It's from the same author that wrote 'Shinka no Mi'.
Shinka no Mi Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei
The MC for this new story basically has very low self-esteem and self-worth due to being bullied by basically everyone in his life, including his own siblings. He starts the story being fat, short, and ugly. But of course after he gets OP his body changes and he becomes taller, handsome, and ripped. The girls are basically cardboard cut-outs from all the cliche and tropes you can find.
One thing that attracted me to this series is the fact that the MC is able to go back and forth between his original world and the isekai world, something that I don't see as common in the Isekai genre. I will say this is definitely something I enjoy about the series, seeing as how the MC has to balance his life with the real world and his duties in the isekai world.
Give this a few episodes when it airs, and if you don't like it then drop it. I'll be watching it to the end. I just hope the animation is not trashy.
Edit: I will say, that trailer looks pretty clean and fresh.
