That cliffhanger fucking got me, wtf?!? The fact that we went from a whole thing about selling parfaits that looked like shit to Chisato getting a factory reset is one crazy ass tonal shift. Epic episode as always, though.
That episode was so good but why did you have to end with that cliffhanger, staff of this anime said on their twitter that episode 9 is going to be really bad(serious) even before episode 8 started airing.
Did Majima write the story for this anime? Dark plot twists with wholesome cute moments Balanced as all things should be
The small takina faces during transition was so adorable.

Majima apparently has too good of hearing sense like damn that was scary but so was Chisato dodging that fast ass bullet he shot at her.
The action sequence of Chisato sprinting during the radio tower incident was really cool also the way she went swoosh and appeared infront Majima's companion was badass
Get that fake nurse Takina, you gotta save chisato.
Next episode cant come any sooner, also Character designer imigimuru-sensei's comment on this episode was hilarious.
that chisato thigh shot was CRAZY
I didn't notice while it was playing but when stitched goddamn, they really went if engage kiss is doing this then so are we.

Please anilist police don't come after me
(oh god the reply by the guy below makes me look like a pervert.
Trust me i didn't even have a speck of thought worth that sukuna smile)
AYO NOOO tf they doin' to Chisato. Why did they end the ep with that cliffhanger.......
First half of the ep was pretty wholesome. Didn't expect to see Chisato casually hangin out with Majima. Wonder what they were doin' with Chisato at the end of the episode. It doesn't seem like they're takin her heart out but rather sending high voltages into it, reprogramming it or smt?
Otherwise the action in this ep was amazing and we also got to know more about Majima's talent, which has something to do with highly enhanced hearing
All of this also makes me wonder what role Majima is gonna play moving forward, cuz i'm pretty damn sure he won't be on Alan's side.
The cliffhanger this ep was painful so it's gonna be a lot of suffering to wait for next weeks ep.
lmao can we also talk about how they just casually inserted the ED song while they're fuckin Chisato's heart up. Totally opposite vibes but smt about it made it work well
Also one more important thing worth mentioning. During the LycoReco radio, Chika Anzai (Chisato's VA) mentioned how her fav ep is ep 9 and then after that the chara designer tweeted this:
So kinda concerned for what's to come...
Takina in halloween costume while handing out gits to children - kawaii.
Kurumi getting a karate chop to the neck. lol
also did not expect Majima to visit Chisato apartment. They have a talk about the past.. Chisato looks so different during the tower incident.
I hope Takina can rescue Chisato in time.
looking forward to next week!
Superb balance and contrast, between SOL and heavy plot.
Now, theory time :
Uh oh what happened with Chisato at the end cant be good. What are they doing with her artificial heart?
This might be a stretch but i have feeling that Chisato might be killed off since episode 9 is supposed to be really dark. Probably not just a guess
On a light hearted note this was funny

I doubt they're going to "kill" her in the sense of making it so she can't live anymore. Past that, I don't know. But I don't see them completely ending Chisato. But the point is to make us think they'd do it. Or to keep on guessing if they would. I could see them doing something to make it look like that for a few episodes though.
I really wonder if this show is ever going to be about Lycoris and its cast overall or keep orbitating around Chisato.
At this point the plot is more mediocre than I expected. Everything is about Chisato and Alan and single important event or plot point is about her. Jesuschrist, I loved her during three first episodes, but this is getting annoying. Now I preffer Takina, whose evolution was actually well written and made her super likeable and practical. But she has no job in the plot, since each time it moves on Takina finds a way to get out of scene. Every character ends up talking about her or gets reduced to a gag.
Initially I thought Chisato's moments carried the show. But now due the plot being so dull I highly preffer Takina's moments. What a serious lack of balance for a show which had so nice first three episodes.
Really, what a wasted potential.
One thing i feel with this show is it has a few too many elements going on at once, like you have the cafe story, the Majima plot, the Alan insititute stuff with Chisato, Mika and Jin, the rivalry with the DA girls, the two policemen suspecious as why they're being kept out investigations etc etc.
However, still enjoying it, decent episode, we did at least get to see Majima being a bit more human. Interesting ending to say the least.
Also Chisato in the halloween outfit so cute.
half of the fanservice episode dispensable, at most the thighs could have stayed, but it was less than 1 minute
ok epi, I hope she kills them all and then explodes from overload since she is a robot :D
and waiting for the joker without makeup to kill them all
mine is ANIMATED!: (no patsu, what a shame...)

Looking at the new Key Visual i started to speculate some things in the story:
-Chisato and Takina will probably fight each other, and Takina knows Chisato's weak spot (the eyes, as she said in Ep. 6)
-Alan Institute has a avant-garde technology, and chooses people with a special (or supernatural lol) talent but with something in need to make their subordinates, in the flashback Majima is blind but oriented himself using his super hearing, but now he has eyes, that probably are some advance tech just like Chisato's artificial heart
-It looks like Alan and DA are connected somehow, but it doesn't make sense why Alan wants assassins and terrorists attacking Japan while DA makes the inverse
-Mika, Shinji and Jin are also connected, but until this point nothing major was revealed, however something happens that turned Mika from an assassin (as stated by Shinji) to a chill and caring person
