Why does this have such a low score? (No spoilers please)

I am thinking about starting this anime, but it has a 30% lower score than the manga. I guess there is a reason for it is it a bad adaptation or is the animation lacking? If the animation is bad that's not a very big problem.

I haven't read the manga, but personally dropped the anime just because it felt super boring. Wasn't a fan of the animation or characters in general.

the production of it is rough but it's still average at best or passable while the adaptation is decent so far since it's the author is involved with it and it's gonna be a 2 cour adaptation so it won't be rushed rest assured.

The animation id shit, the pacing is shit and quit wonderfully they have succeeded in making the show and characters boring.

Like most people who have read this manga, I can tell you to not bother with the anime. The animation is really really bad, not just for today's standards but in general, it's painful. Personally I hate Samidare's voice (one the the protagonists) but voice acting is acceptable overall. The pacing is horrible and that together with the animation makes you really not care much about what's going on. The story is a little ridiculous but nothing out of the ordinary for a shonen series. I found the manga truly fantastic and is one of my favorite shonen reads. I was excited because I waited for this for about 10 years but this extremely low budget adaption doesn't do the series justice.
