Accurate Recommendation Game

I'd like to experiment and find out if this is the most accurate method of generating good recommendations for people:

Step 1 - Go to the list of the user above you, press the 'Compare with your list' button

Step 2 - Look through the list of common series, think of an anime that doesn't appear on the list for you to recommend to the above user

Step 3 - Use at least 2 series from the list of common series to justify your recommendation (use more than 2 if possible)

No anime specifically, just as a whole your list made me think of this

Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Like GUNDAM Iron Blooded Orphans with less death and a slower start (it gets better every episode until episode 50 and you see why they did some build up)

  idk about classroom of the elite, i don't really like the light novels (vol 2) and i don't like the protagonist much

Another pretty good movie but:

If you have problems with watching A Kite, don't do it because I seriously warn you that it contains strong scenes.

I'm bad at recommending things I like, as these can be rubbish or "elitist" things.

So it's hard for me. lmao

evangelion rebuils series as a whole since you liked the main show, I will admit 1 and 3 arent the best but 2 and 4 are fantastic and provide a satisfying end to the eva franchise somehow

Note: The first two justifications are based off of what I have seen you say about those shows (and perhaps just things I've heard in general).
Also yeah I get I'm bending the thread's rules a little ('cause it's a sequel not a new show and 'cause I've not watched all the justifications) but just c'mon this is the only way I feel like I can push you to start it 'cause I'm not good at just randomly talking, even online...~
Also this looks like a really good thread and I'm still sad it died on page 1.

Also it's been over a year since you watched s1. And I dug up your comment from back then and... yeah that fits most for I7 than the other music anime I've seen. S1 is a good prologue for the outstanding s2. I feel like I ought to raise my scores of those two seasons. S3's scores feel pretty solid, though...

  I will think if I will get to it after April monthly challenge. It's just that I considered i7 a different average that I consider bang dream s1, bang dream s1 was okay but didn't have annoying moments like i7, that made me hesitant to continue despite the score getting higher

I have to admit that I know very little about my two justification choices (other than the fact that my sister has watched Given), kinda just picked two music series. Perfect Blue doesn't even really focus on music but the main character starts off as an idol singer before transitioning into an acting career (something that doesn't bode too well with her devoted idol fanbase). You might find it interesting if you're interested in trying out a psychological thriller and looking into some insight on some of the creepy stuff idols might have to deal with.

  Mm, well they both have well-blended comedy and emotions. Given I'd say has a little less music-focus than I7 but it is still key to the plot.

  Thx for the recs. I have both works on my LB anime watchlist but I am to lazy to keep my AL watchlist sychronised. Besides, I do not want to spam my friends' activity with my ptw choices. I will mark them as high priority as well as your other rec on LB.
