Discourage an anime/manga for each of the user above's top 2 worst anime tropes
Too much recommendations, let's turn it around.
Let's help each other create a blacklist.
The idea is simple,
Name 2 tropes you hate in anime/manga and the next user has to tell you what anime/manga NOT to watch for each trope you mentionned.
If you have no anime/manga to discourage for a specific trope, you can skip it.
My top 2 worst tropes:
- Character who has a special power he wants to give up to "feel normal again"
- Monotone sedated robotic main character
I loved it but it has ur first hated trope
- Weak female character depends on strong love interest
- Multiple girls in love with one guy
You hit the nail right on the head. I dropped the anime for one of those reasons, despite it being my favorite genre (Feudal & Samurai).

Just blacklist the entire "harem" genre.
- Whitewashing the Japanese state or pressing WW2 nuclear victimhood with no self-reflection.
- Romantic relationships progressing in a series of strictly ordered steps.
This feels like a copout because it was quite literally made to be propaganda and is very uncomfortable to watch from a modern perspective, but I also dislike those tropes so I avoid them. It is interesting as a historical artifact though.
Taking these from my bio lol
- Oversexualized female characters (esp if they're in a harem)
- Careless Nazi imagery (this can range from Nazi characters portrayed positively, like JJBA, to misuse of the Holocaust as a story device, like BNA)

When an mc is pathetic and has to surround themselves with strong allies
Anime with that portray shut-ins, NEETs, hikikomori and otaku in an unrealistic manner
(if you stay inside without leaving for more than a couple of days you'll get really sick and eventually die... kinda weird seeing chars casually stay inside for YEARS)

A couple of days is a bit too short actually, I exaggerated. A week may still be fine. After a month though, there's no way in hell you ain't feeling like sh*t without at least having stepped outside your door.
I guess I'll have to feel like shit, cause I ain't going outside
