My Favorite Anime Would Be
1) Death Note (Has To Be The Best Anime By Far)
2) Psycho-Pass (CLASSIC)
3) Tokyo Ghoul (Only if it followed the manga)I would of put the Fate series there but Tokyo Ghoul on 3rd but I'm a massive fun of Tokyo Ghoul Same as for Dragonball & Z but Psycho-Pass just edges it
2/3 =) I'm kind of ashamed that I haven't watched and read Tokyo Ghoul yet =/...it's probably because I lost the will to do so when somebody had spoiled the ending for me >=( ( I was so mad). Anyways, have you watched Baccano? Maybe you'll like it!

I heard of it but it wasn't the type of anime I would like to watch, but I would give it a try when I'm up to date with certain anime such as Gintama (Not long Left), Noragami Season 1 and 2 (But Might end up reading the manga I reckon), Berserk, Black Bullet and etc.
@RubenVicente, the person spoiled the ending of the manga T-T so...yeah. Well, I understand, we all have endless lists to catch up on, so...no hurry =) (that was just a recommendation =P).
Calling Death Note the best anime ever is a disgrace if you think about the final 10 episodes of the anime. Even without those last 10 episodes, it wouldn't be among the best anime.
People seem to forget how much the show sucks after certain someone dies: It sucks, a lot.
How can you say is a disgrace if it was the:

Especially It was sold around 20million copies at Japan. Imagine how many was sold out in Europe and the USA. And also They Were Able To Do A Real Live Movie.
No hating but just because a lot of people like it, does not mean it is the best anime. (it's like the same with SAO and SnK but with better plot. No it's not the best the majority just freaking likes it or thinks it is the best.) Copies and live-action means it really popular not that an anime is the best.
Also not trying to be rude or so, but I think that the 'best' anime is really subjective.
for example people have different opinions.
And last, I don't feel the impressed or persuaded by the American anime awards telling me which manga is the best. (At least show me a world version of this award)
Technically that award is the for the manga not for the anime. Just because a manga is good doesn't mean that the anime necessarily is.
Fuck. You guys can be really mean at times. I was too naive to think that all this community had to offer were good things. I thought that people in the community would at least have the decency to respect each other's opinions and tastes, but apparently, I'm wrong. You've all seem to have had the wrong idea. He's not saying that Death Note should be everyone's favorite, but he's saying that it's HIS favorite anime. So what? Cut him some slack. Even if you don't agree with his opinion, you should at least respect him, instead of saying such negative words like "disgraceful"...
I wasn't trying to offend or hate, but I don't think someone can say this is the 'best' anime, because I don't believe in the 'best' anime, since there is no such thing. And also because people have different opinions. Even If I love an anime and I think it's a masterpiece not everyone will think so. Yeah you can say it's my favorite anime, but not the best anime. Even if the majority loves this anime, it can also be total crap for others. I'm really not trying to hate or be mean, but I was just stating that out.

Death Note is the intelligentest anime out there. Light is so dark, and justicer, like me. I am above law, like Light. My name is Stephen, but I call myself Justinian, because I am superior to everyone else, but I cannot say it, since they will not be my friend anymore. Light did one mistake. He did not have any means of physical protection, and he was shot killed in the end. I am not like him in that aspect, I have aqcuired new means of protection. I ordered a new katana from e-bay (the one sword that Sasuke has in naruto, it's easily consealable, so I have it hidden in my paratrooper boots and leather-coat wherever I go). I practise with it every day, and I am self-proclaimed black-belt in taek-won-do. I also sit like L at all times, because it makes it easier for me to think. My mom tells me to sit properly at the table, specially when they're praying for supper (mindless religious sheep! They have not read Richard Hawkins' books. Sheeplings wake UP!). But I have to scheme and think at all times, so I eat like that as well. I also hold my tuff like L does, since it's much more comfortable, and it's much more hygienic. I must also always wear sunglasses, since in Code Geass (it is very cool animes, 2 seasons), Lelouch has this cool power in his eyes that controls people. I am like that aswell, so I wear round sun-glasses to hide my eyes at all times, as to not ruin this world. I recommend Code Geass aswell, since it is like death note, but with MECHA! Thanks for making this thread, OP, I hope you are like me.
If you mean the Grass Cutter, that could fall and slice your foot if you don't hold it correctly.
