Okay, I'm concerned because this is being animated by a studio that has only adapted one anime, and the cover art already appears meh in comparison to the manga.

  That's a good point. I'm watching their anime (the one that started just now), and the art is definitely not the kind of "soft and fluffy" as one would hope to see for this type of genre. Hmm...

  Whether or not she will be a good VA I don't know, but at least her voice does seem fitting for the character. I like it! (Obviously voice itself being cute/nice doesn't mean one will be a good VA, but it's a good start!)

  This will be Shimano Hana's third time as a VA, so I'm not sure about that as well.

  I've seen a lot of good first impressions of voice actors in anime, so I don't think that's a dealbreaker.

  Not really a dealbreaker by any means. The current VA for Saint Cecilia in this season's Shiro Seijo has this as her first role and is killing it. Let's not forget the most popular waifu of this decade, Marin, had a VA that only had a role in some BanG material and this was her first official anime VA work

  It's a joint project with Yokohama (Miru Tights, Lapis Re:LIGHTS)? Nothing to worry about at this juncture.
