Chainsaw man manga or anime?

Should i start watching the first season of chainsaw man and then start reading manga or should i read the manga first and when the anime is completed to watch it?

I preferred the early parts of chainsaw man animated than when I first read it so I recommend watching the first season than continuing where it left off in the manga.

  the author feels the need to add in subversive elements or silly references when they would be best left out. His twists also suck.

Both the anime and manga are amazing so its really up to preference :)

From wht ive watched so far anime and the manga are both honestly amazing but my preference is manga but i did feel the anime wld be easier to get into (?). Watching/reading one before the other doesnt rlly affect ur enjoyment of it both r honestly pretty good at what they do. If u want an opinion id say read the manga.

  Also there is coloured version of manga. I didn't read that but checked some chapters and it looks pretty cool

Watch the anime Mappa really did a great job.

Personally I enjoyed both.
The show is pretty good, has catchy op/eds and excellent animation in parts.
The manga obviously goes further in terms of story (and I like the art style more) though.

I mean, I'd go with the manga but only because you will have to wait years and years if you are going anime-only. If you're patient, stay with the anime, I have no doubts MAPPA will deliver with the key moments.
