A rollercoaster of emotions in the season finale. Ego showed them darkness and also a glint of light at the end of the tunnel. Kunigami not passing the selection was a big letdown but at least Gagamaru and tall Bakugou progressed through. Also, that small bit of animation at the end for the 5th goal looked exquisite. Hopefully, they get enough time to create lots of those in the 2nd season and beyond.

Noo Kunigami… I liked him but well, that’s it for him now. I didn’t expect him of all people to get excluded now, the flashbacks also made me realize the goalkeeper didn’t make it but he was a much less important character than Kunigami. The Engrish in the match against the Top Five got worse, so that was hard to listen to but it was cool to see them in action. Julian aka Mbappe was sick with how fast he is. Anyways, the stakes for the next season are high. Excited for it!

Is it just me or was the English not even that bad...?

My thoughts through the ep:

• mbappé is so cute as an anime character <3
• the eng dub got me dead but fine just ignored it
• just saw that the english guy is harry kane <3
• I was like it's obvious kunigami made it then I was proven wrong right after :,)
• got kind sad seeing rin looking so defeated
• happy to see reo is back <3
• sad we'll have to wait for more eps :(

- celebrating the 1st goal that we had last episode

• Mbappe showing off his 1v1 speed tricks, giving them no chance to react

• Rin knew what the opponent had in mind, but he didn't expect the extra speed lmao

• that blonde guy english ... brabrbabra perience HAHAHAHA

• Rin lost the ball and the opponent team quickly got it in front of the goal with their passes

• glam guy didn't stand a chance in aerial battle vs the big guy

• gloomy guy who can easily rival Barou, got thrown away by Adam lmfao

• opponents easily scored 4-1, and Isagi is getting excited, he is seeing the level he is aiming for, football is fun

• Rin is mad, he doesn't want to ever lose a match lol opponent knows his brother

• blondie did a bunch of leg spins and then put the ball between Rin's legs as soon as he moved LOL "people gonna think you're a loose guy"

• game over, rip that was fast

• the 5 left, saying there's no way they could lose, but it was just a friendly match anyway

• the adults are mad at how much money these little games with the 5 stars cost... Ego still didn't care, giving the blue lock players a little taste of what they are aiming for

• 5th team, there's Niko, the guy without vision lol he wants to crush Isagi ... the 5th member is injured from playing the big 5

• 6th team, Raichi, Gagamaru, the mute brother... and 2 others who weren't too happy with that entrance lol

• "get of me... is what i'm saying" LOLOL

• 7th and last... Reo, Igarashi (who i completely forgot lol) and some dragonball chara

• Kunigami is missing... rip, he got defeated by the dragonball guy

• dragonball guy doesn't give a shit about people's stories, and he almost kicked Isagi lmao Bachira of all people was the one who wanted to fight him...

• Ego interrupted them, told them about the possibility of bluelock ending, and congratulated them for reaching this phase

• the future of BlueLock will be decided in 3 weeks, in a match agains't the Japan under 20 team... if they win, they will be the ones to represent Japan U20 from then on

• the U20 team is going all out, calling for Itoshi Sae, Rin's brother

• ending with a small recap, showing a bit of the journey, and a last look at the ones who aren't there anymore ... Isagi mentality is now different from when he entered ... football might be played with 11, but as a striker, all he cares about is the goal

and this is the end of season 1, this last episode was a good way to set up the next arc, the last 3 weeks training to choose a team, before challenging the U20 team

I fucking loved this show. Thats all there is to it.

Good interesting anime that have higher idea and show today week teens its no bad go and fight for yourself. Be be selfish egocentric is bad way but young today have other way problem and dont know to fight for his rights.
