I liked it a lot! The premiere episode had a lot of references, the visuals and comedy were great, the ost AMAZING, and I like the character designs. It also had a "video game" feel, and I hope it continues that for the later episodes.

It reminds me a lot of RUMBLE GARANNDOLL except with magical girls in place of mechas. Which is a bit scary bc it had its moments but in the end it wasn't a very memorable show.

I'm not sure I vibed with this 1st episode tbh. The animation sure is gorgeous but the scenario seems to have some difficulties to say what it wants to say. Also the weird temporality makes it a bit hard to follow.

This is so sick! I'm just impressed a lot from animation, VA's cast, mahou shoujo things, and the song at the end. Everything was amazing for the first episode. I'm interested in the next episodes. What an incredible spring season we have.

idk what I expected of this show but it wasn't this.

Not sure if I like it or not yet, I'm gonna continue watching it.

Had a strong and insane intro, with a completely and utterly unhinged OP, but kinda lost steam for me as the episode went on. By the end it started to feel really generic in a way that I couldn't really write off as deliberate parody. Might be a case where I have to let it cook for a bit longer, but I don't know if I'm really feeling this one.

Ngl...... Didn't know this show existed till that stunning & mesmerizing opening was gaining traction everywhere...but I found the episode overall to be kinda tone-deaf, both plot-wise and production-wise.
Obviously, this is a batshit premise you're not supposed to take seriously but even with suspension of disbelief, it still throws a lot at you with little coherency or tact. Speed lines, basic color gradient backgrounds, low-detailed frames, and minimal character expressions when it comes to actions scenes, and the compositing is just hard to look at. These simplistic & highly saturated characters with their overly bright color palettes all just running across these bordered grainy-rough-looking metal textures and blurry backgrounds just makes everything feel soulless. I liked the transformation sequence tho, that was fire.

Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers 【ノンクレジットOP】 I LOVE A LOT OF CRAZY ANIMES! I'm loving this season! The art of Magical Destroyers reminds me a lot of Gurren-Lagann and Kill la Kill, and the characters are a mix of Poputepipikku and Madoka Magica!

This is definitely not a show which should be taken seriously, and it establishes this very quickly. The cast consists of only oddballs, the post-apocalyptic world absolutely hilarious, and the fights just absurd. I also quite like the OST, especially the tracks which are somewhat resembling lofi music.

As for the visuals, I'm not quite sure how to feel about them. Sometimes they are gorgeous, sometimes not so much. Only one thing is certain: the opening is absolutely mesmerizing.

Lastly, I find it funny how they used excerpts of a storyboard for the episode preview and really like the end card :)

I definitely enjoyed this first episode, but this could go either way in the long run. It definitely worries me that the director of this show, Ikehata Hiroshi, seems to be working on two different projects airing this season.

First show that got me moved so much in the first episode alone, everyone is talking about how amazing the op is (which it is) but I personally loved the episode it self a whole lot as well. Its amazing how quickly they were able to set up the story and make it interesting quickly. Also a lot of references back to irl otaku places is super cool and nearly made me cry when hearing them chant

Do not question this one, just don't think and enjoy the ride

This kind of show is probably better for those who already watched a good bunch of anime and are used to a lot

Same here! I kinda was expecting something but this honestly was better than I expected LOL. The animation was nice, love the character designs and the voice acting. Also the OP was SO GOOD!! (instantly added it to my playlist lmao)

  Magical Destroyers in its first episode does well to capture the energy and culture of the early 2000s Otaku community, and perfectly satirizes it. This show is both nostalgic and hilarious, especially if you grew up in the early 2000s.

I looove the 90s-00s vibe, I think this anime is the one I'm most excited about this season. I love how serious it takes itself considering the ridiculous premise. I hope it will live up to the creepy vibes in the opening.

the op is giving paranoia agent but like on acid and I'm in love with it, honestly even if the show itself ends up not being super good I think it will be praised for it's craziness alone
