I haven't read the manga, but the girl, it's quite possible that she turns against her parents because of her abusive boyfriend, upon discovering that he was dead.

Some stuff was changed and some stuff was skipped from the manga but overall it was still a good episode.

Really hoping they don’t continue skipping over stuff and I won’t get into what was skipped in the offset chance they show it in a flash back next episode.

  Oh the kidnapped isn’t anything new that did happen in the manga. Tetsuo was kidnapped in the manga while the wife was held hostage at home that indeed happened in the manga but who tasered him was different in the manga because in this episode Kyouichi tasered him at the end of the episode which in fact did not happen in the manga. The person who tasered Tetsuo in the manga was someone else.I’m going to assume you are currently reading what was actually skipped which is what I was bummed about being skipped hahaha.

The manga change was done to bring in suspense and cliffhanger, which it succeeded in doing

I haven't read the manga but I see that there have been changes...hmm...but for now it's ok, the yakuza guys work better than the police lol..I hope the whiners complaining about the animation have dropped :) (it's not the best but not the worst)
thats it, for now I need to see more to judge
