I mean Monogatari has a lot of talking so you'll have to pay attention - not the ideal "relax" anime. You can watch some generic slice of life like Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai you can shut your brain and enjoy it
(watch some clips to get an idea of what it's about, generic sol but i liked it)
Please don't watch Bokuben, read the manga instead. It's 100x better
you can say that about most anime out there. From what i understand, the anime skips very few chapters till the part it covers, and it is not a bad adaptation by any means - the visuals are especially appealing. Plus, if somebody is interested in the story more, they can continue reading the manga from ch70 (that's what i plan to do)
It had a anime original ending that's what the problem was. The ending felt extremely rushed and poorly executed which imo wasn't deserved by S1 standards. (well idk if you can consider it as a spoiler) The manga have different endings for each girl And the anime didn't handle Mafiyu character well and as well as Senpai seemed shallow and a sc too.
yeah i know about the different routes part, which was what intrigued me to pick up the manga. Well yeah i can get that, the show was biased towards developing blue girl's relation that's why she has a lot of fans, the others seem overshadowed by her. But from the perspective of a newcomer, it really doesn't matter all that much. For what it advertises as a high-school romcom with funny moments it delivers good enough for me :)
