The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is one of my favorite classic RPGs that I've played recently. I recommend playing it on OpenMW, because not only does it include bug-fixes that fix the original game, it also supports modding as well as support for modern resolutions. But, if you're more of a console player, you can always play the version for the OG Xbox.
A personal favourite of mine is E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, a Cyberpunk FPS/RPG based on the Half Life 2 engine (Source), and developed by the same team that went on to make Space Hulk: Deathwing, and Necromunda: Hired Gun.

Warcraft: Humans and Orcs. I was surprised how well made the game was with how limited programmers were those days. That one game is only 20 MB in size and it would put most new strategy games in shame. (You can play it online or on DOSbox emulator.)
Also if you like FPS try first Doom or Serious Sam: First Encounter and Second Encounter.
