Well now its truly a yuri anime. Also guess not everything mom said is right Suletta, you moved forward and lost your wife and Ariel. Hopefully its a good wake up call.

I get that they wanted to protect Suletta.. But jeez, there are ways and ways to do it.
Why being so rude and apathetic like that?
I doubt that losing everything and seeing everyone she loved throw her away out of nowhere is gonna be healthy for her.
I kinda see her becoming a villain in the hand of Zenelli, definetely he's gonna try to take advantage of her.
Feel like the biggest part here, and I hope Suletta will be actively aware of it, is that even Aerial betrayed her simply because mother asked.
She has to fully start fresh with a drive of her own to continue.
Obligatory Suletta haircut symbolism when?
I'm not so sure on that part, sure it was a group of things with Prospera, Bel and Miorine all working togehter, but if you ever got to see the... written short story that got released with ep 00 in japanese only it essentially shows Aerial knows what the deal between Prospera and Suletta is and actively wants to keep Suletta safe. This may be Aerial's way of seeing the end is coming and wants Suletta to not be a part of it.
Plus Aerial can reject people trying to piloting her, but can't stop anyone messing with her physically. Whatever Bel installed at the behest of Miorine and Prospera isn't something she could do anything about except appologise at the end. My question is what will Prospera say to Suletta next? Since without a doubt the first thing she'll do is call her.
I really hope all the queerbaiting was worth it. Feel like they could actually get together plot-wise in like, 10-20 episodes later, but it's kind of unfortunate the straight ship with Guel is convincing me more than the one the series kept parading on and on about from the earliest promotion.
I get it's the whole "I hurt you to protect you" nonsense that might inevitably be sorted out with time due to Miorine trying to break off Prospera's control, but currently the show isn't making me want to see the Suletta/Miorine ship and that's a damn shame.
Do you really think there is an ounce of queer bait here after how explicit the ED is?
If anything, there is a lot of hetero bait...
It’s an issue from a chemistry standpoint more than anything else. I don’t buy into Suletta and Miorine as a couple yet and there’s going to be a lot of time sorting through misunderstanding BS in order for maybe a kiss in the final episode at this rate, hard to say. I don’t think Suletta x Gruel will be canon and Elan basically committed sexual assault; there’s just a wild ride in terms of actually seeing beneficial progress in the main romance selling point. It’s gonna happen, but it’s still being held to us like bait until it does.
Kind of a moot point in a way considering I’m sure there have been plenty of OPs or EDs in the past with queer imagery that failed to actually become queer in the show. Thinking about something like Seraph of the End and how hard it pushes a friendship potentially blossoming into love with its two male leads (including in its OP with them holding hands to each other’s heads), and then not commiting to actually getting them together at all.
We're back to Utena in full force, a fresh (but deserved) backstab and the reglamenary "goodbye" in the most despective way. Yup
The thing is, Suletta never advanced forward, she thought that she did but she never did because she is only a puppet (or a puppy) and at the same time an inconscient hypocrite who told others to go forward while she doesn't even know what that means.
Not to mention that if Suletta got to shoot that, Guel would be D-E-A-D. She wasn't aware because she just followed the mindset to win, without thinking on the consequences. All of this after wondering for a while if maybe she went overboard and there was a better option for what she did at the end of S1.
The thing is, Suletta was becoming a big hate-sink character despite not deserving it. After Guel fought back his trauma, it was infuriating how Suletta disabled him without an ounce of effort because she is a walking cheat code with Aerial. I wished for him to win, and to be honest it is possibly the most hollow victory of the show, but Suletta lost savoring how it feels being trampled by cheats. Brilliant.
Well Suletta, you have in front of you the first real chance to advance forward. Do not waste it, because someone who loves you more than anyone else is suffering due to it.
PD: Where is the goat from the earthian dorm?
You're wrong on one thing, if she had made the shot she wouldn't have killed Guel, in duels as explained in previous eps, weapon power is tuned down. Not only that she would have only aimed at the head, tuned down weaponry, plus a head shot would have melted away the head entirely but left the cockpit probably uncomfortably hot but undamaged. She's not so far gone that she'd try kill someone in a duel, she knows the difference between duels and real combat.
I am curious as to what happened right before she fired the shot though, the blue glow on Aerial went white, I'm assuming Suletta hit permet score 7 or 8 in that moment due to the cut to Prospera seeing it on her visor.
I don't think the duel limitations take account of the permet scores and the GUND system. We have been seeing everytime how it keeps crushing every expected result.
And honestly, as much as Suletta can say she is aware of one thing, she continues to demonstrate she doesn't at all. So I don't take her words at face value when her actions say otherwise.
Unless I understand it incorrectly, permet score doesn't up your firepower in a conventional sense, it makes everything GUND related easier to use, can manifest the data storm, and hack other remote weapons (so unconventionally yes, it ups firepower in that you can steal your enemies weapons). However that said if the rifle is set to 50% power for example no amount of permet boost will make it go above 50%.
And Suletta is messed up alot but she obeys certain common rules. To be fair up until now apart from when she's trying to defend someone else she has never actively sought a fight, be it duel or otherwise. She's not one to hurt others unless she or someone else is on the end of real violence first like even in ep 2 with Sophie, she didn't want to kill her. She begged Aerial to stop but Sophie died due to the permet backlash before Aerial fired.
Now if Prospera got involved then all rules go out the window, but Suletta herself is a kind girl, messed up yes, but kind.
Did you forget episode 12 of the first cour? She used that same gun in the same specs (green laser means the weapon already has its power turned down for school regulations) and still melted the legs of Olcott's suit even though he dodged the shot. Even if she aimed at the head of the Dabilbalde, that fucking gun would've 100% killed Guel if Suletta had pulled the trigger.
Hmmm... I never really took notice of the laser colours too much but you're right at school they are all green, in full combat they are blue or light purple. But still this is all assuming she fires the thing at max output (that it's capable of whilst still being tuned down) if she did, she wouldn't have just killed Guel she would have blown a hole in the school itself with that much firepower.
I would still hold that she wasn't going for that outcome as she does conform to school rules and knows duels are duels not live combat. As well shown she didn't even want to kill Sophie so she wouldn't have fired it in a way that would have harmed Guel especially after they finally reconciled. However I will concede that had she fired at full output he would have been killed for sure along with whoever or whatever was in that part of the school's hull behind him.
wow, people are still calling it's a queerbait even after Suletta confessed everything but wont make any fuss when Guel confessed to Suletta. If Suletta was a guy, they won't questioning Suletta true feelings either.
Every discomfort expressions from Miorine, sad face, twitched eye, hand clothes grabbing and shaking hands...you can see how sad Miorine was to make a painful decision for Suletta happiness. Just because you dont see it doesnt mean it wasnt there. Animation isn't only about character movements. Miorine really loves her :))
to Miorine it was for the sake of Suletta's freedom.
but to Suletta, it was a betrayal moment.
I wonder, what happened to Suletta after this.
in my own theory prediction, it's like Prospera wont use Suletta anymore since Prospera planned with Miorine and Belmeria to make Aerial lose, then this could be mean that Prospera is done with Suletta since Aerial is very important to Prospera. But how about Suletta? she lose everything. She lose Aerial, Miorine, holder status and could be Prospera too (?). She lose everyone she once relied to. This could be a turning point of her become a good or vice versa. So what happen next? It's all to Quiet Zero since Aerial is the activation trigger for the Quiet Zero. All I see is Miorine's life is in danger.
yes , it hurts me so so bad and i cried that i got headache after that..this is the saddest confession ever i have watched.
I think I have to disagree, Prospera isn't done with Suletta. While we never hear of Suletta's active Permet score while piloting the two things we do know is she hit 6 in season 1 which allows her and Aerial to unleash the data storm and that this makes Aerial's veins glow blue. This episode they went from blue to white signaling her Permet score went up again probably to 7 possibly even 8 as it cuts away to Prospera quickly and you can hear her let out a happy/emotional gasp as her visor flashes.
Prospera wants to acquire Quiet Zero to get Eri back or to "free" her but to do that she needs someone to be able to reach a Permet score of 8 to use it. Considering that normally using the Permet system at all is life draining, and Sophie died in combat with Suletta when she was only at Permet 3 and exposed to the data storm. That means Suletta who can go to/survive (presumably) 7or even 8 is very very important in Prospera's plans.
Though whether it's actually Suletta herself or Aerial who's going up in Permet score is another thing. Perhaps they need each other to get that high or perhaps not. Either way Prospera isn't done with Suletta yet.
