.
I have become hopelessly obsessed with
Tengoku Daimakyou
since it started airing. Nothing else has appealed to me much. If I were to give another recommendation it'd likely be
Jigokuraku
even though I didn't much enjoy it since it seems to be the most popular (apart from OnK) this season.
Watching 13 ongoing anime, though I would exclude Vinland Saga because it started Winter, so then 12 anime this season.
This season is actually very stacked and even the production quality is top tier in a few anime.
The best one this season in my opinion is Oshi No Ko without a doubt.
Just straight up amazing stuff from the author of Kaguya. Did not think he is able to do something serious this well. And even the disgust I felt in the first 10 minutes of the 1st episode was overshadowed by all the content that follows. Just an amazing show, going completely against what Idol fans want and giving them some harsh reality, while still having interesting fantasy elements, which make the show even better.
2nd Best would be
Just overall an interesting post-apocalyptic show. The multiple mysteries of the show are extremely interesting. The characters are okay but compliment each other really well. As an anime only, however, for this one I am still not sure where the show is going. And it's rating could definitely change, but for now it's number 2.
For #3 it's not so clear so I am just gonna give a few mentions:
My Home Hero is a great show with a setup in real world. Unfortunately it isn't as interesting as it was advertised mostly I would say because of pacing, but overall it is a good show and the description basically tells you what you are in for.
Hell's Paradise deserves a mention even though after reading the manga I found it disappointing. MAPPA did really good in terms of production on this one. Overall best description I could give to it is "piece of iron wrapped in gold". As the ideas and setting are interesting but writing is not very good. And the production is amazing.
Dead Mount Death Play is the last one worth mentioning. It's a reverse isekai but might as well not be one as it is mostly irrelevant. It's also written by the author of Baccano! and Durarara!! so you know we are in for a wild ride. Due to the name and it being an isekai it probably gets overlooked a lot, but it is definitely one of the best this season.
So I guess these are the top 5.
Gotta be
Oshi No Ko
Gotta be
Oshi No Ko
no question.
I've also been enjoying
Hells Paradise
