I didn't watch this episode because it had really sickening shit. It had WW2 japanese propaganda and people who have taken world history may have learnt about this topic.

also to the people defending episode 16? its still sickening even if they didn't know, they should own up to it.
What are you talking about? The tweet you linked was deleted. I watched the episode and didn't see any references to war or propaganda. Please explain.
The only thing I’m reading is that there was a segment referencing Momotarou… while he was used as nationalist war propaganda, the story long predates the war and is an engrained traditional Japanese folklore.
Kind of like how Disney used his characters for war propaganda… that doesn’t make them controversial war icons.
A thread about a person that hasn't watched the episode and warns others about self made hate reasons because Japan can't do any kind of culture mention without someone going "Nippon Wank or IMPERIALIST"
The same happened with Kimetsu no Yaiba, and once again the outcome is the same: Screams against your self made Cloud.
And I was wondering why this thread had more reactions than usual when the ep was kinda average...
TL;DR: Before jumping to the guns, maybe just maybe wait to see if the allegations are true or even that negative.
I think the episode was good
I'm not english native my english isn't that good (no problem with reading, but it's another story for writing). I don't find words to describe in english what I like about the episode. I did yesterday in french on Twitter but I can't send link here
It wasn't bad but after how great ep 14-15 were I was expecting more Skyland (my bad for not watching previews) content and while I appreciated the way how they mixed "acid trip/wtf episode with a reason to make grow Elle instead of just being a full comedy episode based on a fairy tale of sorts"
Next episode seems more to my liking, I had been expecting Mashiro development episode for a while.
