Honestly i have to give it to the mangaka for making Kanoko the most annoying and irritating character from this show or even this season so easily and in the span of just 2 episodes

The episode was good though, love me some drama even if it pisses me off. The direction this episode was pretty good too like the hime comedic cuts plus pretty decent layouts.

MEBACHI END CARD!!!!!!!! God its so good, sucks that it had be of heckin Kanoko and not Hime with Yano

Congrats to Kanoko for having such a toxic codependent crush that she does not take any positive action, just tries to tear down any attempt Hime makes to form other real social bonds because she sees them as a threat.
What if we made a girl whose entire personality is built out of social anxiety and internalized homophobia

Kanoko will get more development later on. The pacing of the manga isn't this bad, and the character, although the same, has a bigger impact imo.

They truly managed to create Kanoko as the unbearable character, with her toxic and possessive behavior towards Hime. I finished the episode feeling irritated, especially because in real life, it's one of the types of people I despise the most. I believe that since it's a story, Kanoko will change her attitude, but it will be difficult to shake off this horrible impression I have of her.
