BIDEN! LOWER INSULIN PRICES, NOW! IM GOING BROKE FROM ALL THIS DIABETES THIS SHOW HAS GIVEN ME!
IT WAS SO GOOD I SMILED AGAIN FOR 20MINS STRAIGHT
Honestly, it is a solid adaptation. I was afraid they would cut through too much stuff to get to the confession, and I'm glad it didn't happen. Stopping at when Kyo realizes all of the "dangers in his heart" were an armor, and just how he is glad Anna is there for him made a great finale. Unfortunately, even though the adaptation was solid, i feel it couldn't completely grasp the tone the manga sets for these events. Manga just hits differently.
Still, even though I would recommend people who liked it to read from the beginning, i'm not saying it because this anime betrayed the source. If anything, I'm saying that there is only so much you can put on a 12 episodes. If the manga for me is (currently, as it is still ongoing) 9 to 9.5, this anime is an overall 8 (8.5 from me, personally). Maybe there isn't enough on the manga yet to complete a second season, but i hope it happens in the future.
For people who will go to the manga after this: DON'T SKIP THE EXTRA CHAPTERS. All the diabetes inducing moments are there. Good read!
Never though I'd love this anime so much, Saw the previews before it released and it piqued my interest. So glad i decided to watch it. The growth and development of their relationship was so sweet and entertaining to watch. I'm sad people dropped it after only one or two episodes, but it's their loss. Onto S2!!!
So glad I watched this as one of my favs this year so far, its so wholesome and cute! Now I do understand why people dropped it after the first two episodes, even I (tho I don't drop anime) felt like it wasn't going to be as good of a Rom-Com (haven't seen many), I'm so glad that I stayed.
The MC Ichikawa, I like how they made him have inner dialog to help display his social anxiety and difficulty with speaking to people. In the end, he meets Yamada, a cute, lovely girl who gets him to slowly break out of his shell in time and to the point he doesn't need his armour anymore.
I'm so happy that they wasn't a lot of fanservice in "The Dangers In My Heart" If they did, that would have taken some of the points off for me, it doesn't need it to shine.
Better stop, before I turn this into a full review.
I'm going to start reading the Manga, this one is a gem.
I'm gonna die from a heart attack incredibly soon!!! CAN I GIVE THIS A RATING HIGHER THAN 10/10
This is a fantastic adaptation, 99% of the manga was preserved, and in every single case improved.
Tho honestly, even I was skeptical of it from the first 2 episodes, I was this close to dropping the anime,
wouldve been the worst decision of my life
THIS SCENE, THIS FUCKING SCENE melted my heart so badly omg. 77777% better than manga
