Toradora!
Gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun - This is more lika a ''notice me senpai''- anime
Ouran high school host club - It's more romance in the manga, but it doesn't focus so much on romance. Still worth watching this.

And I'll second Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou, although unfortunately the relationship development sorta sits in the background. That being said, it's an excellent comedy. And it demonstrates shyness without all the "Ore wa.. Ore wa.. n-nandemonai!" nonsense.
Yeah because romance where the guy treats the girl like shit till episode 8 is such a fun story to watch. Shitty "romance".
and it demonstrates shyness without all the “Ore wa.. Ore wa.. n-nandemonai!” nonsense.
Is there any romance in this anime? That girl doesn't even see this dude as a guy. In my opinion it was good comedy but it had NO romance in it other than blushing here and there, but hey, maybe you're looking for something exactly like that.
Wolf Girl was something different, so I think that immediately excludes it from the "shit" realm. Some people are way too bothered by a character's blunt honesty. Do really feel that sorry for Erika? Sata didn't want to be a part of the typical romance journey that everyone else abides by, and she learned that very quickly, but persisted anyway. The result is a romantic comedy. Shows that aren't liked by anyone don't carry a 70 on this site.
And on a similar note, Kawaisou didn't contain the romantic garbage you see in most shows. So to some, no, there wasn't any romance. But I interpreted it as an internal emotion, rather than a "Carry me on your shoulders while we go buy a house in the woods" or a "Help I'm trapped in a cage! Where is my prince?!" kind of story. (SAO knows what I'm talkin' about)
So just because it had one thing different than other shows it cannot be considered as shit?
No, I didn't feel sorry for that girl, she was just another typical shoujo girl which will do anything to get a guy even though that guy is just a total prick and that was proven in episode fifth(?) in restaurant, him changing a bit at the end actually proves that the show is like any other shoujo out there. Yeah they don't carry 70 if nobody likes it, but 70 itself is just a bit better than average. Show did nothing special in my opinion.
Kawaisou = Guy spots a girl > fells in love > fun stuff > Blush > more fun stuff > Scene that makes them look closer but they aren't really > blush > the end, to be continued in 3/or more seasons to come and later in manga/or in other source material.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy Kawaisou for the comedy it had and I look forward to next season, but I wouldn't call it anything good when it comes to romance, at least not in this season. Ookami on the other hand had a lovely opening which I really liked but that guy annoyed me till the end, it still wasn't that terrible.
but hey.everyone knows my taste is shit so I'm probably just talking crap about something I clearly don't understand.
Pretty much what everyone else said up there.
I'll also like to recommend Ore Monogatari!!. It's currently airing but the first episode was really good and it has a lot of potential. You can give it a try and see what you think. :)
Seconded Your Lie in April and Toradora, very good animes.
Other romantic comedies I can recommend are:
Nisekoi
Oregairu
Saekano
Hope you enjoy! :)
If you want to see a romance anime that actually has an ending to it, you can check my "Resolved Romance" list
Just something out of memory fast:
Clannad: After Story - well duh, gotta survive first season though.
ef: A Tale of Melodies and the other season
Nagi no Asukara
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
Trying my best not putting names others did :
Acchi Kocchi ( A couple getting joked around from friends )
Kaminomi ( Has some references to romance, but harem style )
Tsubasa to Hotaru ( Description says all, it's 1 episode )
Sukinayo ( Has some good romance scenes )
Mayo Chiki! ( Doesn't place a lot into romance, but still has some light romance scenes )
Love Lab ( How to Romance 101, maybe? )
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! ( A classic )
Hiyokoi ( Description says all, it's 1 episode )
Ao Haru Ride ( A re-encouter with her old love, loved it, good soundtrack )
That's some of the ones I remember the most...
Oh other than that.
I saw you didn't watch Clannad
Give it a try, some romance... but it's more of the feel's side ( Clannad : AF ).
For the ones aforementioned that I've watched, I honestly have to disagree on the romance aspect being really great, compared to the romance in Chuunibyou demo koi ga Shitai!. While the romances in Clannad, Honey and Clover, and Toradora were all evident, I think the romance was the most pure(?) or at least the sweetest in Chuunibyou.
Ohh okay :D Chuunibyou, yah I liked this Anime because I really liked all the characters, especially Kumin she reminds me on my High "School Days" XD I was always sleeping anywhere and the story of course, I wish there's a third season of Chuunibyou, i've been waiting for the kiss on the lips. Yeah okay, Clannad, Honey and Clover and Toradora. I will definitely love to watch this. Hmm maybe, Chuunibyou. XD
I'm not really found of watching romance series, because I'm more into reading one, but here are a few I can recommend for you; Bokura Ga Ita, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Kamichama Karin, Special A, & Fruits Basket. And also those which are previously recommended.

I want to know what romance type anime was the best to you. There are so many romance animes out there but not all of them are good, to me. I've been running low on Romance animes and haven't been able to get around or find any good ones recently anyone mind recommending any?
