He goes to far with those words but the thing that Kaori does in ep 13 (goes in the middle of the fight) was silly. When you feel something is dangerous you run away from it not going to see what is it. Also earlier Yuuya told her there is lots of monster in the jungle so she should stay away from it

In isekai anime they don’t usually go that far to kill a heroine but at least they should put some scenes where she hurts and then Yuuya saved her. But it’s isekai. But it’s isekai, they usually don’t go that far
