this is like if letterboxd let documentaries into the top 250

I don't know why people think MVs and the like shouldn't be included
To be honest, I don't get why people bother to track music videos in the first place.
And in general it just... it's not really a proper anime? Yeah it's animated, yeah it's from Japan, but like... it's a music video, not an anime or movie or anything like that... it just does not feel like it belongs there.
MVs and the like
...Huh? I feel like it's only music videos that get this sort of reaction (though there is of course only the one) and like... the people complaining about tons of entries from the same series at the top have a pretty different sort of complaint.
not an anime or movie or anything like that.
MVs and the like
Chibi specials, commercials/PVs, experimental shorts, etc. All the things that aren't "anime or movie or anything like that"
Chibi specials, commercials/PVs, experimental shorts, etc.
Ah, those things... I haven't really heard complaints about those myself, but I guess that makes sense. Though, with the exception of adverts, those feel a lot more anime-like than MVs... what with comedy and/or plot being a much stronger aspect, I think. That definitely goes for the chibi shorts/specials, though I can see a slightly less-crisp line with other things...
