It should have been me.
Beautiful episode, much better than the first in my opinion, the graphic effect is much improved (I didn't experience that "stretched" feeling I had in the first episode) and also the oddities of the plot (like the frogs in the lockers) have definitely decreased , the relationship between Ai and Kaede begins to take shape, I hope it continues like this!
Yeah, this one was definitely better. The colors still seem a bit like someone didn't set the camera to the correct exposure, but far better than the first episode. Camera movements made more sense, it didn't feel so much like someone was just messing with all the sliders to see what the effect would be.
And now that Mie also starts hiding her glasses at moments she thinks it makes her look worse when wearing these, it makes a bit more sense.
I didn't know that people who wear glasses lose half their brains when they take them off. Is that a new trend? glass-brain implants?
If someone ever asks you the definition of exaggeration, throw away your dictionary, show them this anime instead and ask them to focus on their interactions. The animation does feel way more natural, though, gotta give them that.

well said.
Also, the whole thing feels awfully rushed?? it's like, the anime just skips everything in their lives except for the moments when mie does something cute. how much time has passed since the last scene?? we don't even know that. like, bro, komura has a life even when mie isn't around, but eh...
ig it's too hard to just make extra little scenes, for e.g komura getting in the shower before he screamed about the bruises hurting him, komura laying on his bed before getting a message from mie and falling of the bed, mie opening the doors to her house and taking of her shoes after their "date", mie leaving her house in the morning without her glasses and then later on realizing she doesn't have them... these kind of things would be very beneficial for the pacing, it just feels too rushed. like honestly, we don't know anything about these characters except for their personality way the view each other. but it's only the 2nd ep sooo... maybe it'll get better... adding some extra characters other than the male and female lead would be great too.
