I didn't expect to be all teary-eyed during this episode... As someone with three other much older siblings, Minato's desire to be more useful and Gakuto having to suppress his wishes to not burden his older, busier brothers really got to me. This felt like it was made for me, honestly, and considering it's being handled by Shuka - the studio that was made to pick up all of Brain's Base's actual good projects - I'm actually confident that this can be SOTY (or my SOTY, at least). Can't wait for the next episode.
Ignoring the quality of the subs currently, I think overall the episode was pretty cute. Totally understand Mina's want to be more helpful, and I really get Gaku keeping quiet about what he wants to not be a burden.
That said, for me, Mina's desire to help was greatly outweighed by him not actually helping and being an overall nuisance. I found his behavior really annoying actually, I think all of the brothers need to communicate more, but I'm sure that will be a running theme/lesson they learn throughout the show.
Despite my gripes I am looking forward to finishing this show.
From the ANN article:
Update 2: Crunchyroll told ANN on Friday that it "is working with the licensor of the series The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons for updated subtitles, and we hope to have that version on our platform soon."
