Weaker than the premiere episode but still a very good one, the casting for the characters is just amazing considering how new they are and for some its their debut.

Waiting weekly is going to be pain, i will just pick the manga.

I want to like this, but I feel like these characters are a bit too lacking in logical thinking for my liking, to the point that it's starting to get slightly annoying...

  100% Why would a 15 yo think in ANY way she can build a rocket???
  (and she also seem autistic with a special interest, in no way she shouldn't know a lot of things from the beginning, but this is more of a hc so it doesn't really matter)

Ok now it's getting engaging. I thought it would be another CGDCT without essence, but we're already seeing the MC getting out of his shell a bit. The interactions and gags were better than the first episode (which are paramount in this kind of shows) and the new girl was a great addition.

Slowly but surely improving. I'm having fun.

thought it was a step up from ep1. just enjoying the vibes its a very comfy anime. the mid card jingle is a really nice touch

Alright, hear me out. This anime somewhat reminds me of A Place Further Than the Universe in the sense that a group of young girls are working towards a goal that seems impossible from the outside. But there is, unfortunately, a difference between going to space and going to Antarctica. You can make a somewhat believable story about high school girls going to a remote place, but space is just out of reach for everyone but billion-dollar companies. In this episode, we had a soda rocket. We're probably going to have the characters do some other space-related stuff in the 10 episodes that have yet to come. You can use aliens and space as symbols, but they're ultimately just going to be that – the premise is far too outrageous to be taken seriously, and it is not going to amount to anything.

Don't get me wrong, I think it is fine to have such a common goal that unites them even if they never reach space (in fact, I would much prefer if they didn't make it there). But the rest of the series is just not doing anything for me either. It is trying to be Yuri, but we already know that it's not going to commit to it, at least not anytime soon. Umika as a character is still far too inconsistent for me to take her troubles seriously. The chemistry between them is just not there, and the comedy doesn't make me feel anything either.

It is such a shame that this is just very, very bland.

  I want to believe that they'll actually make it to space, somehow. Though I've got no idea how they would actually do that. It seems impossible, but I hope that it happens.

well, they obviously can't build a real rocket that goes to space. But this plastic bottle rocket is enough to bring some smiles and improve the friendships.

This show is giving off the same vibes as Do it Yourself & The Little Lies We All Tell. So far, I love it-- it's like a sugar factory with the amount of sweetness this show is producing!
