as expected another fun anime
1st, she has an excalibur but doesn't scream excalibuuuuuuuuuuuuur? blasphemy lol
2nd, ofc an hungry person would fall into that torture lol tho it seems too easy for the woman, just sit there and eat a little bit
3rd, their demon lord is trash, how many secrets does he need? except the princess (and maybe a few more) none of the soldiers can even handle the troll, just attack them already lmao
I apparently thought it would be a great idea to watch this on an empty stomach... At least it helped me relate with the main character?
I was honestly surprised by how fun and expressive the animation was - gave me some slight Bocchi the Rock vibes, which is always a positive. Buuut I can bet that this will get repetitive really quickly...
Well it was pretty entertaining, and the animation was surprisingly really good - but I question if this can hold for 12 full length episodes, as it is the first episode was basically the same scene three times in a row.
Though lol another show where the demon girls are all super cute looking, and all the males are just orcs and animals, not complaining about cute girls but it just always amuses me.
To be honest I probably would have preferred to see a show with her just traveling around being a warrior princess. Seems like that would have been pretty fun.
At least I can like this Princess more than the one from the sleepy princess series. It's not by much to be fair. But she was at least helpful to her own side while she was there. The opening scene was pretty fun at least.
Though maybe she's actually worse. Since that Princess was so selfish she was more problems for her captors than anything else. So while she didn't seem to care about her people...she was at least troubling their enemies. This Princess is more of a useful person which means she actually has valuable information and can doom her people far more effectively. I feel like the comedy loses a bit of zip since she's actually giving up useful intel...in the first episode...several times. I guess they'll try to save themselves with excuses for how her intel isn't causing massive casualties. Not that the Princess herself knows that. For all she knows the corpses are piling up as she speaks...and eats.
That being said, comedy is comedy. But not really getting any laughs out of this one so I'll probably just pass. Especially since it kind of ran out of steam by the end of the episode. Just the same joke on repeat.
To each their own. Some things just work for a person and don't work for others.
Eh not it for me. I’ll stick to Dungeon Meshi for this season. Too mid for me, let me know how it goes tho.
This is so far the best drawn and animated show of the season...easily. Wild.
And between this and Dungeon Meshi, I'm gonna have to always make sure to watch when I'm full of food already..
Its a pretty fun show but I feel like it would have been better as a tv short rather than a full length anime. I love the manga of this but i feel like seeing the repeat of a similar joke three times in a row isn't an fun as getting 1 short story a week. That just my opinion though and I am sure many people prefer this format.

Another Pine Jam banger! I didn't even know it was by them until I checked because I was surprised by the animation.
I absolutely love the opening too, the characters are so cute!
And the bread scene, honestly, was second only to Mushoku Tensei
