You might want to try something by Riyoko Ikeda. Any one of Claudine, Rose of Versailles or Oniisama e are good reads. It doesn't hurt that the latter two have great anime adaptations.

Definitely get on the otome game/novel isekai hype train! Most of them are very cliché but I love to watch them when I want a simple and funny story just to distract myself. I'd recommend these two for starters:

If you liked "A Sign of Affection" I can recommend "A Condition Called Love." There's going to be an anime adaptation soon too, which I'm excited for. I saw this recommended before, but I have been reading "Kimi ni Todoke" and though it's not my favorite, I know a lot of people really like it. Personally, my two favorite shoujo manga are "A Sign of Affection" and "In the Clear Moonlit Dusk."

From things I've seen recently I can recommend these
