wow what an episode! Funny moments, we learn more about Fern's character, great fights, and a chilling reveal! I'm usually content watching an episode a week of this show, but now I can't wait!

So far Denken's strategy seems to be really good, the bigger the group the more chance there is of having a wizard at an advantage over the opposing copy, but I wonder if this will be enough against Frieren's copy and how Fern and Frieren will enter.

Honestly, this season's Delicious in dungeon is very similar in vibe. It portrays dungeon exploration with well build world.

Seeing Frieren's happy face when exploring the junk was very enjoyable :)

holy shit i was not expecting they would have to battle frieren, i could literally hear the boss battle music start playing

Sense is def the most preceptive mage in the series.
Great episode with those battles and cant wait for them to battle clone Frieren(Techincally clones are still less powerfull than the original so they would be fine I think)
Also got the glimpse of the best ship of the series thus far

Defeating the Frieren copy should be easy. All they have to do is send someone to retrieve a mimic and drop it right in middle of the room.

Favourite moment was when Sense questioned whether it was wise for her to follow Fern and Frieren after witnessing the latter fall for a mimic lmao

The revelation of the Frieren replica in the already battle damaged room makes me think that this is

where Serie is, and if the mages reach the bottom they'll get one of the grimoires once they beat the boss of the bottom floor which I think is going to be a replica of Flamme

this is the best episode yet since the aura ep

it would be very out-of-character (and really not even fit the feeling of the show) if frieren went all out against any of these people in the first test in a shounen-style power level confirmation battle. so it's actually really genius to do it through a "relatively" low stakes clone battle. we get to see frieren go ham without it feeling out of place in the story.

I have no clue why Kanne and Lawine would go in by themselves. They should've joined up with Frieren or Denken, who is pretty much the most deserving of the first-class mage certification.

Fern pulling session. The sound Frieren make while being pulled from the mimic, feels like someone who is getting tortured. Sense looks shocked at what's happening in front of her. LOL
anyway, it's impressive how Frieren knew Sense was about to step on a trap... even if Sense was walking behind them.

oh, and noticed that Richter has a more cheerful atmosphere. Less grumpy, and he actually smiles now. Maybe he has learned to trust Denken and Laufen.
unfortunately, it seems Lawinne and Kanne still remember the time Richter tried to kill them during the first test. So the situation still feels a bit awkward. Would have been better if the two of them had just joined Denken's big party.

Laufen is good at fighting. Why did she not fight Frieren in the first test? Just allowed the elf to tie her to a tree..

anyway, looking forward to next week!
