  Its a really hillarious anime. Every episode is random with barely any plot and I love it. Its a comedy anime. Its kinda like Gintama(and I think its based off of it too? Not sure). Theres over 120 episodes but each ep is like 4 min long. Its bout the daily life of a guy who's basically the Saitama/Mob of espers.

The only one I know who's birthday is on June 28th is Ushio Aotsuki.
I have never heard of the other ones displayed on Anime Characters Database.

  well, was curious and it seems there's a couple of sport related characters (ace of diamond and all out) and even Onoki from Naruto and Pegasus from Yu Gi Oh!, Id say they are way more memorable than our purple sticky boi

  I've only watched the first as well. I thought they did a decent job of summarizing the show. Acting wasn't too great though. I felt it was pretty mediocre but I don't feel it tarnished its reputation. I think to have the best experience they needed to make the movie longer, like, Lord of the Rings long.
