This episode felt... weird. Either the pacing was actually unnatural, or my head was making things up. Really felt like this could've been separated into two episodes with the sudden tone shift nearing the end, but I guess the 3-episode rule is also a thing in Japan. Still a decent episode; I actually liked the way Yasumi's outburst towards Yuhi was handled, but man.
That whole bath scene was weird and out of place. I find the pacing in this show to be really annoying as well. Also not sure if i like that they were enemies for one episode then best buds all of the sudden. I do give this show props for not deleting the opposite gender like most yuri/yaoi does. The show is just kinda decent at the end of the day.
I didn't feel anything majorly wrong with the pacing of this episode, or the jump from the last episode.
I think that, if anything, the quick-to-change tone of this episode work in favour of the unpredictability that the story attributes to both gigs and their Watanabe and Yumiko's lives. Furthermore, I felt that there was enough segmentation and runtime between the individual parts to differentiate, anyway.
Likewise, the bathing scene didn't feel overly out of place, either.
I felt like there was quite a jump from the last episode to this one - but boobs funny, so I'll live with that. Their relationship got softer so that was nice, also is that Ayako Kawasumi as Chika's mom? That's kinda cool!
First half had it's moments, they're cute enough and I find their backstories decently compelling from the little we got. I'm surprised we got one of those breakdown arcs so quickly though, I almost expected us to get more idol stuff first.
I think the episode would've been improved a little by having chapter cards in the corner or something - it felt a little jarring to have things play out the way they did, but I don't think either part is bad on its own.
nice sleepover and bath scene, nice bonding :D
oh no, their raido show is gonna end so soon, Yasumi sure was mad at that and poor Chika got hit by her insults lol
ofc they both regret that and will have to talk it out
fucking idol fans tho, as usual, the stalkers are annoying as hell and the comments are just as bad lmao
i hope Chika can resolve this issue without losing her role and popularity, but damn it... annoying
