On one hand it's a pity that an awesome creature design is gone so quickly, but on the other, the interactions of the other characters working together were great and hopefully it means the author has even bigger and weirder plans that will last and linger

Agreed, sad it lost so fast but the teamwork and moments from the 3 were great.
Twist at the end and the MC pulling up was awesome, great art of course.

Can't wait for the full reactions to MCs powers.

Also i feel like the last chapter got a lot more eyes on the series which is sweet.

I finished all 7 chapters in one go today and I really like it so far. When I saw the similarities to Berserk and that he was/is (I don't know exactly) the assistant of 藤本タツキ, I knew I should try the manga, and I'm not disappointed at all!

I also really like the use of kanji and furigana in the original, for example in the first chapter when the sea monster spoke, it used the kanji for 海 (sea) as its pronoun, but the furigana were わたし (I).

Very excited to read it along with its release schedule.
