Why am i getting booted back to the global feed on refresh ?

It didn't do that before. These last weeks the auto refresh keeps putting me back on global instead of my following feed. It's a pain to click back on Following every time. Can't there be a default feed option or something?

  The bug this resembles is a very very often reported one that happens to random people very randomly.

this is happening to me too. anilist always used to put me on my following feed when i came here but now it's going to the global feed. i prefer the following feed so i can see what my friends are doing! i hope it gets fixed soon

Some days it's fine, other days it straight up refuses me to swap away from global. Extremely annoying indeed

same thing's been happening to me for a couple weeks, even the an extension feature that lets me block the global feed doesnt work

Huh. You didn't mention anything about difficulties in switching back to the following feed, which is the main part of the very oft-reported problem that can lead to this issue.
It does usually default to the last selected, and the auto refresh doesn't affect that, but the bug where the following feed refuses to load can include tge auto refresh switching it back to global.
If you don't actually have issues getting it stay on the following feed, though... then this is probably a separate, but likely related, bug.

  I believe the same bug is affecting it but the outcome is different. Cause for a while mine was just that it would always show Global when I checked, but then as of last month it started failing to even load my following. On some occasions, just depending on the whim of the site, it lets me see my following tab again and then later (same pc and browser) it just reverts back to only showing me global

It's a known bug, they don't know the source of it so they're asking several people experiencing the bug what timezone they're in and etc to try and figure out what is causing the bug. (At least on discord dunno if they been asking peeps on here too)

I've been having the same issue and it's really pissing me off. Sometimes it'll even refuse to switch back to the following tab, like I'll click on the button, it'll load for a bit, then display the global tab again. I hate to break it to you anilist but I just want to see what my friends are up to and don't wanna see the global tab ever. Plz fix

Been having this issue for weeks now, it's super annoying, I really don't care about the global feed to be honest, a feature I never really used.

I hope they can fix it soon but it's an issue that has been around a while for me...
