The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Season 2 Anime Plans Confirmed

During today's The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic panel at Otakon 2024, it was revealed that Season 2 for the anime is officially in the works. The new season will also stream on Crunchyroll when it returns. No news of staff, cast nor release date was announced at the time of reporting.

The news arrived along with some congratulatory comments from original author Kurokata and Ken Usato voice actor Shogo Sakata.

Original author Kurokata had the following to say about the announcement:

I am very excited to see Usato's story animated once again and to see what happens with the new characters introduced in the second season. This opportunity for a second season is thanks to everyone who has supported the series and all the staff involved in " The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic." I will continue to give my best to meet everyone's expectations.

Ken Usato voice actor Shogo Sakata added:

I rushed over upon hearing the news about the production decision for Season 2 of " The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic"! I'm Shogo Sakata, the voice of Usato!!! I am incredibly, incredibly, super happy!!!!! This is all thanks to everyone's support...!!! Thank you so much!!!!! Usato's journey of delivering letters is about to begin...! I'm so excited!!! little side note iirc the first arc Season 2 will cover will be the weakest arc of the series (not that bad but kinda eh), after which we will get more PEAK

I really enjoyed S1. Was a breath of fresh air and the characters were also great. They did kinda tease another season at the end so I was bummed out when S2 wasn't announced soon after.

Season 1 had many writting issues or just choices I didn't like, but I still enjoyed it, I probably will check out 2nd season.
