  I feel like I’d enjoy this show more if it came out years ago. I’ve been rather meh on most episodes. Maybe because the student council election stuff doesn’t interest me as much as other anime that have done that.

I haven't seen any of the English dub, but I've seen a few clips, and I'd imagine that I'll have to rewatch this episode (and possibly the whole season) in dub with how hilarious this episode would sound.
