Ah yes, another new anime with a title so offputting people will instantly dismiss it and judge anyone who says they've watched or liked it!!
But honestly, aside from the title, this show seems like a pretty simple and wholesome concept of a damaged family reconnecting through the reincarnation of a deceased love one! I imagine it could have alot of sweet moments and some solid drama, and the animation looks pretty passable. :)
I personally will be keeping an eye on this to see how folks feel about it!! Will any of you be watching this show as it comes out, and if so, why?
I read the first 2 or 3 chapters of the manga and it is mostly looking to be about reincarnation and grief/moving-forward.
The concerns vis a via the title are actually addressed in-universe in chapter 2. I’m definitely looking forward to watching this.
I’m not really on social media, anime-wise, so I rarely pay any attention to slander there—if there even is any.
The premise for this reminds me of Detective Conan a little bit. Just on the aspect of having a character who was initially older suddenly becoming an elementary school child who has to navigate his daily life including his romance in his newfound body and all the issues that come with that, how they can't be together, the bittersweetness of it all, etc. Except in this it's the wife and she's dead and can't go back to her old body I guess and I'm assuming it's just gonna be just a full on drama/SOL type of thing. I honestly don't blame people for being put off by the title but if it's actually handled well and doesn't do anything creepy then it might be good.
