That transformation scene at the very end was super smooth.

is it only me or did the pacing feel extremely slow in this episode? I remembere the manga being very fast paced but anime did give a different experience with the slower pace. the animation is crazy good

Momo's final strategy was genius! The boys are becoming aware of their powers, but long and hard training will be necessary to take full control of them and increase their resistance so that Momo doesn't faint and cause disasters.

One was cool, but this one was amazing since it showcases really well the chemistry between these two idiots. Also, Momo is amazing. I hope the series doesn't do her dirty by making her a less active character.

Also, thankfully this one didn't feature a r*pe scene. I don't mind, but this turned off my friends. I want to keep comenting the episodes with them.

I LOVE the iberic spanish dub. Jaime Roca is an excellent dub director. I don't know if the latino dub is good, but the peninsular spanish one is making this anime very pleasant to watch.

I would have liked a bit more of character development and world-building before putting them in another fight, it was hard to believe that the girl could survive so many hits and not die and that the main character simply figures out mid-fight that he can somewhat control his powers, either way, this anime is not that deep, I love the art-style and the overall positive energy that this anime outputs.

The vibe is somehow more Dandadan than the actual manga itself. The music, voice acting, art, direction does so much to elevate the experience and atmosphere. Worthy of substituting Tatsu's godly art. Absolutely loving this so far.

Dandadan probably has one of the best anime adaptations I've seen in a long time. Everything is perfect from the animation, the voice acting and the music. Science saru did not disappoint with this episode

This show is nuts in the best possible way. I can appreciate that this show accepts what it is and is just absurd all of the time, it makes for a really fun watch. The Momo / Okarun dynamic is great, they'll be worth a ton of awesome comedy.

I do have one gripe with the episode though, it felt like it lasted about 3 minutes and was over.

The voice acting in this anime is probably the best of the season for me—especially for Ayase. Shion Wakayama trying to really make this her year between Makeine and this show.

Once again, I have to praise the animation in here: The fight sequence was very fluid and dynamic. I'm also really impressed with Momo, everything points that she is going to be my favorite character in this anime!

as a manga reader, this episode's pacing was slow. its not bad. but the manga is so fast paced. it felt a bit weird

The beginning of this episode gave me such strong Monogatari feels... And I love it.

Another mid episode, mid plot lines, with lame overreacting throughout. Really hope the other characters are better bc this is y’all’s fav? Wow

Once more I find myself WAY more interested in the dialogue and character dynamics than the action/supernatural stuff, but at least this time it was more interesting than episode 1.
I would genuinely watch a slice of life romance series with these two as the main characters.

I like how he makes use of a lot of ideas (paneling, rotation, transitions) but in a functional manner. He doesn't throw them in for the sake of it, but you can discern a clear intent behind every storyboard decision which is interesting. It also aids the pacing, the episodes simply move forward at a very pleasing pace. You don't feel like it lingers too long on certain moments or tries to pad them out. Fundamentally this episode expands on its strengths already established in the first episode, I still like the dynamic we have here with our two main characters. I also find the in-universe dynamics (such as Okarun requiring Momo's spiritual powers to keep the curse in check) fun, because the show is consistent at maintaining them and showcasing them in different scenarios, not only in battle. Makes me feel sorry for the guy too, god damn. I quite liked the greyscale color scheme for the battle and the CGI implementation was good too. There are some cuts that were very effective at showcasing how big the alien is, I'm a sucker for that stuff lol. Last thing I want to mention, the soundtrack is very good. It feels unusual for an anime but in a good way, it shows that Kensuke Ushio stepped out of his comfort zone here.
