That was a much much better episode than the first two. I love that they did Claudia so well, I really liked her in the manga and she was almost as gorgeous as she was in the manga.
I have to tell you, this author's other manga, The World God Only Knows, is one of my all time favorites and is the reason why I bothered reading this manga at all. It's not as good obviously, but the manga really gets better over time. So when I saw this, I almost choked.
god i love Haqua and Kanon and everybody else. much recommended manga
Honjoji was more adorable than ever today.
Let me tell you, if a lady came all the way to my house just to give me a frog-shaped rock, I'd fold on the spot and marry her.
This episode really raised my hopes for this anime. Maybe it's not going to be that bad after all!

An extra easter egg:
Those two characters mentioned have their same VAs in this episode. (Haqua = Honjouji) (Kanon = Claudia)
(I never read/watched The World God Only Knows, so I had to look it up.)
Now I wonder if the other two characters shown have a similar connection.
I knew about Haqua and Honjouji both being voiced by Hayamin but not Kanon and Claudia also being the same seiyuu. Kanon was actually my favorite in season 1 and she was an idol with a bunch of songs which I love so the seiyuu is great... I can't believe I didn't recognize her.
Thanks, you just made me like Claudia even more than I already do

You missed something. She was never cheating, she just hangs out with men because her girlfriend (actual lover) gets jealous and feels like she's being cheated on. She's not even in love with the husband as she explained, and presumably hasn't been intimate with him because she doesn't swing that way, and was thinking of breaking up the marriage and leaving the royal family to chase a normal romance with her girlfriend instead. They cleared this up by the end.

Agreed. I was getting ready to drop it but this episode convinced me to continue.
I liked the princess (Naobou <3), even though we'll probably never see her again. Unless she elopes to Japan with her lover?
And seeing a bit of Aso was a nice surprise. It really is a beautiful region. Sadly, the railway we see was closed during my visit because of the 2016 earthquake but I see it finally reopened last year! It'd be cool if we saw more of it.
And I was impressed by Takuya's English, it's a lot better than what we usually hear :-D
