The spiral has a cycle of ruining and rebuilding the city. Fuck it. The episode was better, but Junji Ito deserves better. Spiral curse ended, but when will Junji Ito curse be lifted?
Im sure the never-ending curse is apart of the horror. Knowing that the inhabitants of this place are stuck in a never-ending cycle of beiing brainwashed by the "curse of the spiral" and becoming horrible intertwined within it, all to be completly forgotten by future generations. Quite the horrific story when you think about it.
