For anyone who has read the source material, does the story pick up any in the next part? I watched all of season 1 and just wasn't hooked and am wondering if I should give season 2 a try.

  2 cours usually means 24 episodes (some shows are 22-26 right) but considering the first season was 24 episodes I think it's likely this will hit that mark too.
